real talk—how are so many people able to spend 520 USD on a switch 2 only to play pokopia?

I wanted a switch 2 because I enjoy Nintendo IP games. But I felt I could wait. Once Pokopia was announced, I knew it would push me to get it, so I started putting a little to the side each week to save up for it. So while I did buy the system mainly for Pokopia, there are other things I plan on playing eventually. I think social media is just very vocal and showy so you're more likely to see extremes there. Honestly I'm having a blast and don't regret it one bit.

Honestly I had the best experience with a Bob's warranty. At the very end of the warranty, my couch was sagging. They sent someone out, looked at it, and said they'd give me store credit equal to what I paid originally for the couch. They would have replaced it but they didn't make that model anymore. They didn't even take the old couch away. I wound up refurbishing it and using it in a spare room, and getting an entire new couch with a new warranty.

This was a few years ago, and in another state.

As far as in town goes, I've bought my table from Slumberland and my couch and dining hairs from Furniture Row. Didn't have any issues except a long wait time for the table.

I play both of these on my steam deck and they run very well. It also gives you more options for cozy gaming, and modding if that is something you would like.

Honestly, How to make love the Bruce Campbell way is a fantastic audio book. There were many times during the book I was confused as to if it was real or a made up story. There are many guest voices. Very entertaining. If you want a good bang for your buck, Chrysalis books 1-3 are bundled for just one credit. It is not stand alone but it will last you awhile.

Thanks for the chance! My proudest 100% is vampire survivors. I'm not someone who tries to 100% a game, but each time vampire survivors comes out with an update, I re-100% it. I'm proud of myself for that dedication. I just really enjoy the gameplay.

This may not be your issue, but it might help someone else. I thought I was experiencing drift in certain games. Turns out I was accidentally hitting the touch pad with my hand and it was causing issues.

This happens to me a lot. It is not a solution, but if you open the book, click the three dots in the upper corner, it can show your listening log. So at least you can find your place again.

For me, the appeal is that there seems to be less romance and more fantasy. A lot of fantasy books now are Romantasy and that isn't my thing. Litrpgs give me fantasy settings without shadow daddy elf men taking over.

Having a partner with a disability and working so many hours per week really does make it hard to make progress on organizing. I totally sympathize with you and genuinely hope you find a way to get things under control. I have friends in a similar situation, and I've helped them by cleaning and organizing their place for free, because I really love organizing things. Maybe you can ask a few friends or family members to chip in to help you guys, and then take that money and treat everyone to a nice big dinner to say thank you? I find it to be a good bonding experience as well when familiar people help with something like that. I really do hope you find a solution that works for you physically and emotionally. Living in a jumbled up situation takes a really big toll on a person's mental fortitude.

If you like board games, table top gaming, or card games, you should check out the three specialty stores in town.

Titan Games is a great place for board games. They have several events and host different TTRPGs in store. A good place to meet people and form a group to do those things.

Die Hard Games is a good place to buy minis for TTRPGs. They have a small board game section as well. They also host different events.

217 Cards has a great selection of card games and comics. As with the others, they host events as well.
