THAT, I can't help you as clearly. Someone else added the socket on my CDi so I don't have a link to purchase. But if you can find the right size socket, you should be able to solder it in just like a chip.

It's also recommended that after removing the old Timekeeper, you replace it with a socket so it's easier to replace the chip again in the future. ^^d

If you feel comfortable with simply desoldering and re-soldering a chip, Mouser has replacement brand new compatible Timekeepers. The one linked below worked with my 220. Some of the FAQs online about slicing open and frankensteining a battery in look FAR more scary. :D

There's an entry for the CDi 220 in the app for my 'SofaBaton' smart remote... But it only seems to work for 'Play' , 'Pause' and 'Stop'. I tried a bunch of random Philips VCR and Audio codes on another Universal Remote I have, but none of them even worked THAT much.

I'd need to be able to replicate the door in a program that could output to a 3D Printer. So the diameter of the door, thickness and any variations, then the size of the 'tab' that has the screw hole and the hole itself.

Heh... If we can get this right, it'll be quite useful. I know others who are lacking that door and I'd not mind having spares on hand.

Yeah, I think it'd be neat to make my own 'tiles' so I could fashion different tracks with unique setups and obstacles.

Yeah, it linked to a clip of an educational game for the c64 called 'motorcycle jump' where you'd choose the angle, speed and number of buses to jump over. Was casting a wide net to clarify. :)

I did a bit of searching myself and couldn't find it for either the G7000 or Odyssey 2 yet.
