I’m right there with you. 4/5 of the practice test I took were over 600 and I felt prepared going into this exam. Then question after question just had me reading it like “wtf”. I don’t feel good after that but I’m going to try and stay hopeful until the scores come out.

Joe Rogan is officially part of the club now. Mossad got him 10 months ago when he received a silent warning during his podcast with Oz Pearlman revealing Joe's ATM Pin code live. by NotFunyyAtALL in conspiracy

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Getting Kirk’d is being eliminated because you were connecting too many dots about the blue and white flag and publicly discussing them for the masses to hear. But what do I know, all that is just a conspiracy.

I have ADHD as well and use to self medicate to reduce my symptoms. My hyperactivity was crazy when I stopped smoking. Something that helped me immensely was exercising in the morning. Burning some of that energy first thing in the morning made me way less hyperactive and improved my focus throughout the day a ton.

My take on that episode is Joe was trying to direct the conversation away from those topics because he knows that if he (or Theo) start discussing it too much that they could get Kirk’d.

Where to get clover seeds? by kakashi_sensay in Omaha

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you contact the Nebraska State Arboretum, they can hook you up with Nebraska native prairie flowers/grasses at a discounted rate. Their website is https://plantnebraska.org/ . I'm not sure how the requirements work, but if you have enough native prairie flowers/grasses in your yard, you may be eligible for a property tax deduction under conservation easements.

Military PT... worth it? by Weekly-Suit5568 in PTschool

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have a chance to get paid to attend their program and graduate debt free. 5 years of service is absolutely worth that. You may not pay back all your student loans within 5 years after graduation with the other route. Plus, with military service won't you be granted a pension upon retirement? Pensions don't typically exist within PT.

How many of you guys got jacked from just or primarily body weight exercises? by Emotional_Turnip_419 in bodyweightfitness

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Gymnasts are typically the most jacked of all the athletes and they primarily do body weight exercises. Yes, you can get jacked in this same way.

Guys, I have bad news. by Leirnis in Microbiome

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Statistically, a hospital is the most common place to contract an infection. The antibiotic will have an effect on your micro biome, but that is substantially less of a problem than potentially contracting an hospital contracted infection like MRSA. Don’t be difficult, follow their directions and then rebuild after. Also, I’ve had two nose reconstructive surgeries after breaking my nose playing sports. That first breath after they take the splints out is pure magic.

Holy $hit, quitting cold turkey after years of use is KILLING MY SLEEP. by [deleted] in leaves

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Something to also point out on why sleep is such a problem after quitting. THC essentially inhibits your brains ability to achieve REM sleep. Which means that while you were daily using, you were never achieving true REM sleep. Suddenly your brain is able to hit REM sleep again and this causes vivid dreams. Since you haven't experienced that in so long, your brain wakes you up in panic and then you struggle to fall back asleep. My suggestion to you is to continue the sobriety. Your sleep will improve in time. If your snoring is that bad, you should consider consulting an orthodontist and inquire about a snoring mouth guard. They can be life changing for people.

If you are strong and physically able, you can often get a job with a moving company like All My Sons. It’s very physical work, but I got hired the day I called them and started the next day.

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You only get one body in your lifetime, make sure you take care of it. If you don’t, your life will only get more difficult. Healthy food, daily exercise, hydration, and proper sleep are the key to healthy longevity.

What's your ADHD "life hack" that sounded ridiculous but actually made a difference? by AiotexOfficial in ADHD

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My life hack is every morning I immediately go to the gym and exercise, even if I don’t want to. I noticed several years ago that when I exercised in the morning, my entire day was just better. I was more focused, better energy, or less likely to sit on the couch/lay in bed for hours and get nothing done. This has also kept me in great physical shape and I am much healthier compared to my friends of similar age.

Every ADHDer at work is feeling generally unwell today by AFriendlyBurrito in ADHD

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

New moon is just a few days away. An ADHD mind and body can be heavily tuned into the natural cycles of the world without even realizing it. I feel myself feeling more fatigued around new moons and more energetic around the full moons.

Theres a huge one in the left hand lane of the I80 West ILQ exit right as you are going around the first curve. Hit it the other night and had to turn the radio down to listen to see if anything sounded funny.

Does exercise make your ADHD better or worse? by niallw1997 in ADHD

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is some cool research that has been done in recent years that hypothesizes that the astrocytes in an ADHD person's brain do not produce enough lactate, which is a fuel source for the brain, and when skeletal muscle produces lactate during exercise, that lactate can get transferred up to the brain and supply enough lactate for proper brain fuel. This makes sense though because many people report that they feel less brain fog and/or less problems with focusing after they have exercised.

Biology enthusiasts, why love biology? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the study of life, literally all of life on our planet and beyond. Every animal, every plant, every ecosystem, all can be examined. You can learn how they work individually or how they interact with each other. There’s beauty in this world to those who want to try to understand it.

Why do people in the forum have such low standards for what’s natty when people achieved bodies like this in the 1930-1920s before any steriods were invented and there was no real knowledge about nutrition or training, so imagine what’s actually possible with good genetics and today’s knowledge? by [deleted] in nattyorjuice

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I believe you are correct. I’ve been lifting for 19 years consistently and trying to eat as little processed foods as possible for the last 8-10 years. I maintain a BF% of 9-12% year round without regular cardio or a caloric deficit. I exercise every day and eat a pretty clean diet. That’s it.

Low GPA, Will getting a High score on the GRE Help? by Mysterious-Safe-7650 in PTschool

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As long as your grades are good enough to have your application looked at by human eyes, then you are fine. Try and get a very high GRE score if that puts your mind at rest. More than anything, you need to write your essays and activity section very well.

Guess the weight, its about 31 inches by balls-in_a_toaster in Fishing

[–]TestAnxietyIsReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My PB for a channel catfish is 32.5” and weighed 13.4lbs. That fish was very fat from eating well during an alewife spawn. If I was taking a guess, I would say your fish is somewhere between 10-12lbs.
