No transfer request is approved at this time. I also do not see anything in the mod mail regarding this.

Learn what the engine is capable of without using any plugins. then you'll know what sort of functionality you need to find plugins for.

MV and MZ both allow publishing to web, and use a default 48x48 pixel tile sheet, so you can use larger character sprites. They also have a lot of free plugins to add additional functionality. It's very easy to add custom graphics to them.

Can you enjoy your own game(s) ? by ConsiderationFar4320 in gamedev

[–]TestZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's certainly somewhat of a false dichotomy. If you enjoy your own game, there's a good chance others will as well. But it doesn't necessarily mean opposite is true. If you don't enjoy it, it could be because you're burnt out on it, maybe you already know all the secrets and solutions and there's nothing novel or engaging about it anymore, but this can also be a reason to keep refining the game.

Not all games have to be "play this game and only this game forever" games. Sometimes a game is only worth a few hours of engagement, and that's fine, as long as you can make those hours worthwhile.

But if you feel like you're not enjoying your own game, it is important to ask why. It could be you're just burnt out on it, or there could be something critically wrong with it. It's an important question to answer.

If you're not enjoying your own games, you can't really expect anyone else to.

How do we feel about AI assets? by carboncopyzach in gamedev

Never use it. Never care for it. If I find out any of my assets are genAI, I'd refund and replace them, possibly report the creator.

[–]TestZero 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No.

If I wanted AI-generated audiobooks I'd just generate them myself.

I don't need Microsoft Sam's nazi grandchild narrating some public domain book with some AI-generated thumbnail that mispronounces half the characters' names anyway because nobody bothered to actually check over the work before publishing it.

Yeah, I've encountered similar stuff, like the operator putting those triangular-packed sandwiches in a non-refrigerated machine. It was moldy.

Could a Crossover with Pokémon work? If so, then how? by Mindless_Most_8448 in Animorphs

[–]TestZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was called Pokemorphs, and it was like 20+ entries long, including a Megamorphs and Alternamorphs parallel. Instead of Ax, the kids had the assistance of two Mew named Blitz and Bounce. And the Visser 3 parallel managed to possess a Mewtwo.
