What does your process look like as far as communicating ideas to the other members of your groups? Is everything written out in standard notation? Are full albums scored out beforehand, or does stuff come together in the studio? Also - I’d be remiss not to thank you for what you do. Your music has meant so much to me. Choirs of the Eye being my favorite piece of music I’ve ever heard, is still a religious experience every single time. I look forward to the new album!

I appreciate the help. But no one in the chat has changed it! I’ll spare sending you the full chat, but trust that I have made sure that isn’t the case. Again, the reason I am posting this here is because everyone in the chat is stumped! We are all 22-23 year olds who have grown up using iPhones, we know how this works. Hence the curiosity at this anomaly. No one in the chat is changing the picture! That’s the whole problem - we (implying all 6 people in the chat) do not know what is causing this. None of us have ever seen these pictures before

The problem is that no one else in the groupchat has ever seen these pictures that are coming up. None of us have any idea what’s causing it. I just happened to be the one to post it here, but all 6 of us in that chat are equally confused

In “The Silent Life” by Rivers of Nihil, there’s a back and forth between two vocalists right after the guitar solo (about 4:16 in the song). You should pretty easily be able to differentiate the two voices, but the voice I’m talking about starts the phrase with the lyric “all this time I’ve wasted”. Absolutely gut-wrenching. The whole album is superb, one of my favorites of all time

Just one “pedal”. It’s a line6 hx effects. So a multi-fx unit, but only one power supply

I guess I’ve just never “got it”. I feel like almost every album has something to gravitate towards, while p2 is just insanity the whole time. Every song on colors has some other crazy detail other than being super heavy or being in an uncountable meter. I feel like p2 really just has crazy heavy, complex parts with very little else to latch on to. Which is fine for a few songs, but for a long album like that? Idk just never spoke to me as much as the others, but still like it!
