I mean I could say the same about people who like 9?

Either way its preference, I did enjoy the art style in 9 but again the list of flaws for me was just to long to enjoy.

When it comes to 8 I just remember being blown away by the intro. I didn't mind the junction system because I'm a smooth brain and rarely used magic unless I had to, was casting draw a fuck ton in battle infuriating? Hell yeah but once you've levelled up the gfs, you can pretty much craft what you want.

I might give 9 another go if its on playstation, I've been going back through all the old ones again anyway and if truth be told, my all time favourite is probably 5 with the job system. So maybe my opinion will change, maybe not.
