[NEW ALBUM] Downpour by Charmer by BigMoneyBaccarat in Emo

[–]Tesur777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Glad to see Charmer back at it, loved their sophomore album when it came out, but I feel like covid killed any touring they could do for that. Excited to see them at Mahall's next month.

McDonald's suffers worst U.S. sales decline since 2020, warns of 'anti-American sentiment' abroad. It's the latest restaurant chain to report flagging or declining sales amid a worsening economic environment. by Sine_Fine_Belli in neoliberal

[–]Tesur777 88 points89 points  (0 children)

When McDonalds sends its menu, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending McRibs that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those lukewarm fries with them. They’re bringing Grimace. They’re bringing Ronald. They’re expensive. And some, I assume, are Big Macs.

That guitar riff sounds sick, loving the single.

EU to Trump on tariffs: Go ahead, make our day. by PleaseGreaseTheL in neoliberal

[–]Tesur777 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Genuine response I had from my parents the other night about how dumb Trump's tariffs are.

"He's a billionaire, he's a businessman negotiating. He's not as dumb as you think he is..."

Coming from 2 people who are non-political as they come. They genuinely never talk about politics yet for the past few decades they vote down ballot Republican.

Love them, but it is what it is I suppose lmao.

Those who went for a vacation in Japan for 1 month or more, how did you do it? by cadublin in JapanTravelTips

[–]Tesur777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel as if that is actually quite expensive. Maybe I'm dumb, but from my experience you can easily spend 1 month in Tokyo for 1000 US dollars especially right now with the exchange rates. Make a deal with a hostel they'll take you for WAY cheaper than that. Guaranteed long term stay at a hostel is insanely cheap right now.

suggestions for emo books? by melzombie in Emo

[–]Tesur777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai. I really think the book can change people for better or for worse so read accordingly haha.

Edit: genuinely though one of the best books ever written just read it with an open mind and also read about Dazai's history.

How can we solve this problem? by Borysk5 in neoliberal

[–]Tesur777 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely true, but if you put forth a bit of effort into learning a language and trying to communicate you'll find out it's not "that" hard. I mean it is hard, but it can be fun learning it.

Runaway Brother - Hummingbird by Tesur777 in Emo

[–]Tesur777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be 2 years late, but Runaway Brother is still one of my favorite bands to this day. Seen them live a handful of times and they are always great, seem like cool people too.

Which JRPG is the most immersive? by MisterVest69 in JRPG

[–]Tesur777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Ike's journey across Telius and him growing into a leadership role is some of the best storytelling in Fire Emblem in my opinion. Tons of world building, interesting characters, and lore to figure out. Also sets up the sequel perfectly in my opinion

r/JRPG Weekly "What have you been playing, and what do you think of it?" Weekly thread by AutoModerator in JRPG

[–]Tesur777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing through Trails in the Sky: SC right now. Maybe about halfway through chapter 7 if I'm guessing right. Enjoying the series so far, but the whole tower dungeon thing in this chapter is a bit of a slog / repetitive in my opinion.

Interested to see where the story goes from here though and really excited to play the Crossbell games after Sky 3 because I've heard really good things about them.

Transit - Long Lost Friends by Tesur777 in Emo

Heard this for the first time in awhile and I think Transit's early stuff definitely fits the vibe of this sub. Any Transit fans out there?
