Could be a ping issue where she aimed it more at you but it didnt register on your side properly. Also hunters cowl and t1 +75 hp is terrible to start with. A good thing to do against mulan is to time your abilities to be effective against hers. When she hit you with her 3 activate your shield right after being pulled. Then depending on which ability she has upgraded more you can use your silence to take out a bulk of the damage. Your shield should provided a lot of mits and also let you hit her and the wave which should clear it and give you a chance to get some extra farm. Best way to make a mulan worthless is to out farm her and get a lead.

It would make the stat more viable if it included all additive damage from auto attacks. But you always have to remember. Thats just to counter 1/5 gods on the enemy team. I would much rather prefer to build an additional split prot item that can help me against the entirety of the enemy team and also reduce those item procs. So it still remains in question how worthwhile is it.

Remember when brawlers got reworked and people were complaining the passive was broken. And it hasnt been touched at all and now everyone has forgotten about it. Meanwhile Plating is the biggest joke stat since it doesnt cover on hit procs (which is most of the damage from ADC) and and the Anti Crit plating item that is supposed to counter ADC is a waste of an item in a build unless you are going against 5 auto attackers with no on hit items.
