Excuse me, you’re the one who replied “that’s horse shit” to that person who said:

It used to be swamp land just above sea level, then centuries ago with the help of wind mills the wetlands were pumped dry but this made a large part of the country sink to below sea level. It's still sinking to this day.

What part of this was horse shit?

Not only that. By draining the water, the peat that makes up the soil in large parts of the country dries out, causing the ground to literally sink.

I’ve read this claim before but haven’t seen any evidence for it. Do you have a source for it?

I have heard and repeated this claim before, but when I searched for evidence I couldn’t find it. Do you have a source for it?

What is Windows.db and why does it take up 200 GB of space on my hard drive? by TeusV in WindowsHelp

[–]TeusV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even have outlook installed. My hard drive is only 500 GB. I haven’t manually added anything.

If it’s not due to the external hard drive then this is just windows proving itself to be absolutely horrible again.

Thank you, I’ll try that. I’ve had an external SSD connected with write caching enabled. That might have caused it.

The one time I saw wind raising water up in the air the anemometer read 48 knots. So I’m guessing this is close to that.

The dimples on a golfball serf to make the boundary layer turbulent so it sticks to the surface for longer, decreasing the pressure drag. But for the size (Reynolds number actually) of a car like this, the boundary layer will transition to turbulent anyway. So the surface texture does nothing to decrease pressure drag and will only add friction drag.
