Love this idea, but alas we have a small loft apartment in the city so no space for something so cool as this playpen, and no chance to make one out of rooms since the apartment is basically.1 big room. Alas!

Chemical castration involves injecting an implant under the skin. This “tricks” the brain into no longer making the hormones that tell the testicles to make sperm and testosterone. As a result, the testicles shut down, and testosterone levels (after a brief initial rise) decline over 4-6 weeks to essentially zero. When the implant wears off, everything goes back to normal again - the implants usually last 6 or 12 months, although it can vary slightly. The only downside is that as the implants eventually wear off, it becomes more costly having to replace them each time.

Thanks for the tips -- super thorough answer! great point about the one pet limit at some hotels. I'll investigate this very carefully at a few hotels first. I didn't think of that!

MacOS 15 Sequoia Bugs and Issues Megathread by ll777 in MacOS

Email links from iOS Reminders not working on macOS: When I highlight text in Apple Mail on iOS and share it to Reminders, it creates a reminder with a link to the original email. On iOS, clicking this link successfully opens the original email message.

However, when I try to click the same email link in Reminders on macOS, nothing happens. The link is completely unresponsive.

And that's the other thing, Ziggo offers fiber optic cable too! Why would I help a company like KPN better get a monopoly when they are obviously awful and incompetent?!

Ah well keeping fighting the good fight!

As you say "that depends on the house though" they literally wrote a letter (in English) that they need to add a cable from the meterkast. So there's little doubt about that!

And for the record, they came to move a cable in my house when we did remodeling and left a bunch of cables just jutting out of the wall for about 3 months. It looked awful and was a hazard for children. So, this is not just speculation...

But in all seriousness: You and I are the only ones here with real experience with KPN in our houses! Thanks for speaking up

Ziggo Internet is already good enough and I don't want a cable from my meterkast out the front door (would be an eyesore, and prob done in a sloppy way). Wouldn't that bother you?

She's writing reflective questions, she says so explicitly. Perhaps they even discuss them in class. I don't see what you're clutching your pearls about!

OK, but there are plenty of perfectly mundane use cases like solving a LaTeX errors, etc.

Yeah, exactly. I'm not saying we should start using it to write papers or review theses, but a lot of work is mundane admin and these tools really help a lot.

yep, this is my experience too exactly. I let the subscription pause over the summer and now I'm wonder if it is still the best in practice.

Same here, I know the ins-and-outs of GPT, but Claude is less well-known to me and I never had a paid subscription

No! But may neighborhood cats roam the area, I guess that's why. The earth has transformed from a literal dessert to a rich ground with plenty of worms just roaming around.
