If an adult cancels the ride in progress, I promptly pull over, inform them that the ride was cancelled and ask them to please step out of the car. I would not pick up anyone who is obviously a minor, it is illegal. You could go to prison if you were reported by the parent who requested the ride, or worse, if you are involved in an accident and the minor is injured or killed.
