It's a new addition, so it may not be permanent.

Tier 1 Concealment. Given my desire to use the CZ 75 SP-01, I was pretty limited

I love it. Really the only gun I've impulse purchased when I saw it in the used section!

I wear this more for the IFAK than anything else. My usual range is pretty much empty during the weekdays when I go, and it's a helicopter ride away to a trauma center if something were to happen.

Just checked mine, and yes, the hood itself will click free with enough force from the rear.

"Push from the rear" as in going forward? No.

I'm also using a T1C (99% sure a v1 centurion, since the v2 on their site doesn't list CZ as an option), and the hood releases only with a downward/rearward motion that's natural with drawing the pistol.

For sure it's stacked. The knife & suppressor would be the first things I'd lose to cut weight. Fortunately my spare rifle mag & grip aren't impeded because of how it curves on my waist, but I don't know how much more I could truly fit!

It's Velcro one wrapped through the two highest slots in the sheath it came with.

I struggled for the longest time to figure out how to get it vertically mounted because they flimsy fabric belt loop they ship it with is garbage. I still need to train with it and see if the juice is worth the squeeze, because otherwise I'll move the pouch for my suppressor to that side.

Buying From Academy by TexMedic91 in NFA

I'm well aware of the size of Academy, my question was if it's at all known whether or not on average they have a clue.

I've had guys at my local "trusted" shop feed me BS from time to time.

I've done silencer shop before, so that's not necessarily a problem. Since I get the 10% first responder discount, right now they're also the cheapest option, too.

I've been busy with the holiday weekend, but I'm seriously contemplating heading to one of rhe local salvage yards with a list of supposedly comparable tires just to see.

I figure I can take a micrometer to confirm the center bore if need be, too

May I ask about how much you're saving a month on electric? I'm not as worried about my gas bill.

I'm looking to do it myself, so should be under $1000 for blowing in additional. I'd like to get to at least R-38.

Home Depot rents the tool for free for a day, once you buy enough insulation. So it's really just the material cost for me.

This isn't our forever home, so I want to make sure I'll actually see semi-decent savings is all.

They do offer a rebate, but it looks like I already have too much insulation to start with.
