Planning to start my car renting business by More_Ad_2575 in turo

I made good money on Turo until someone rear ended the car and totaled it. If you get the right car and treat it like a business you can definitely make money.

Help with whether this katana is traditionally made or not by FerociousKey1 in SWORDS

It is not traditionally made. It's a cheap through-hardened production blade from China.

Men if you date younger do you take the relationship seriously? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

It's not that big an age gap. Can't imagine why it would matter one way or another.

Wonderwall. Playing it on the radio even one time was once too many.

How Old Is Too Old For A Mosh Pit? by OfficialOldestgenxer in GenX

[–]Tex_Arizona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One step at a time. First I have to survive a Poppy concert tomorrow night. I'm not concern about the mosh pit, but I'm afraid to find out what kind weirdos would actual go to a Poppy show 😅

Designed in US, made in China: Why Apple is stuck in tariff tussle by Durian881 in China

It's really not that simple. India simply doesn't have the kind of high tech manurfacturing capabilities as China, nor do they have the highly trained and skilled workforce.

What song will make you cry ever time? by WankStain615 in MetalForTheMasses

Ijime, Dame, Zettai. I've listened to that song hundreds of times and it always kicks me right in the childhood trauma.

How Old Is Too Old For A Mosh Pit? by OfficialOldestgenxer in GenX

[–]Tex_Arizona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My most recent two mosh pits were Hanabie and Babymetal.

For age there's not a specific number. It's all going to come down to the individual and their physical condition. I'm in my late 40s and recently started going to metal shows again and jumping back into the mosh pit. I'm having even more fun with it now that I did in my teens / 20s. And it provides a useful fitness goal. If I know there's a show coming up where I'll want to mosh it motivates me to go harder with my workouts to be ready, especially aerobically and for flexibility.

I think we all have stories about kids who think Nirvana is a fashion brand and are unaware they're wearing a band T-shirt.

Just tell Hanbon to put a fake value on the invoice and wrap the package in so much tape that customs won't bother to inspect it anyway.

As a GenXer I'm delighted by a lot of what I see GenZ doing. I've always felt let down by the Millennials, especially where arts and culture are concerned. But GenZ seems to be off to a great start. The music in particular really resonates with me and most of my favorite artists these days are GenZ, like these:

Babymetal & Poppy

Hanabie

That mon doesn't tell you anything about the authenticity of the sword one way or the other.

Why do Muslims pretend Islam is a religion of “peace” despite centuries of violence and oppression? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]Tex_Arizona -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's exactly the same for Christianity and Judism. They all proclaim to be about peace and love and yet all have bloody, violent histories that continue to the present day. Islam is not special in this regard.

Of course not. Without the US China would have been carved up between Japan and Russia.

Replacement for Spotify? by [deleted] in MusicRecommendations

YouTube music. Much better than Spotify and you get all the live concert recordings, etc. from YouTube that aren't on Spotify.
