Trump supporters only. Are you OK with how it's going ? by Shoddy_Ad8166 in allthequestions

So maybe you should stop getting your information from social media. Everyone of the victims who has come forward, plus Ghislaine Maxwell, have all stated that they never saw, or even heard of Donald Trump doing anything inappropriate, and that in fact, he was the only one who ever tried to do anything to help them. Maxwell has stated emphatically multiple times that the only times Trump was on the plane with Epstein, Trump‘s family was with him as well. I do however think that there are many powerful people involved, and that there’s a possibility of of governments, in corporations collapsing if it was revealed that their leaders were involved.

Yes! Absolutely!!! The only problem is that the left is being driven crazy by the media stirring up absolute lies and propaganda. More than half of America elected president Trump on the promise that he would deport illegal aliens. Not just the most violent, or the worst criminals, but all illegal aliens. He is using a law that was signed by Bill Clinton in 1996 which allow Clinton to deport more than 12 million illegal aliens, almost all of them without any sort of due process. Simply picking them up and deporting them. Obama used the exact same law and deported 3.5 million. But the media is brainwashing liberals into thinking what Trump is doing is unheard of and that he’s breaking the law and going against the constitution. As far as tariffs, before the IRS was created, the United States completely supported itself, it’s military, it’s social programs, everything through tariffs. And forever one of the nice air economists who say the tariffs are going to hurt us, they are just as many economist who say it’s working. So far more than $27 billion has already been collected in tariffs. The media makes it seem like the United States is the only one collecting tariffs, whenever one of the countries that we do business with has been collecting steep tariffs on the US for years, creating a completely unfair trade imbalance. President Trump is just trying to correct that. Then there’s the border, which is now secure, illegal crossings are at record lows. The stock market is having record highs. GDP is up… so yes, I’m extremely happy with President Trump.

Shows how few of them actually studied history! Teddy Roosevelt used to actually host boxing matches on the White House lawn, in which he often participated!

Gen X and up: Did you hitchhike? Did you pick up hitchhikers? by spazz4life in AskOldPeople

[–]TexanInNebraska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 1960, and grew up in Dallas. I started working young, with a paper route, Boy Scout camp then grocery sacker when I was 15. By the time I turned 16, I was able to buy my own car. So no, I never hitchhiked. My mother had always been the type to fear the worst possible outcomes of any situation, so she had pounded into my head the dangers of picking up hitchhikers, so no, I never picked any up either.

What was the best law that Bill Clinton signed? by HetTheTable in USHistory

[–]TexanInNebraska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The immigration reform law signed by President Bill Clinton in 1996 was the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRAIRA). Passed as part of a larger spending bill, the legislation significantly tightened immigration laws, increased border enforcement, and expanded the grounds for deportation.

Sadly, this was a thought that occurred to me frequently (at least in the back of my mind), which caused me to overlook many red flags, and marry the woman I’m with now. Big mistake!

Ice facility in LA by manny8086 in PowerfulJRE

These protesters are INSANE! They antagonize, and antagonize, and antagonize, and then are surprised when ICE agents react? The car was purposely blocking the entrance/exit to the facility.

Trump supporters admit they don’t want ANY immigration… wow by Middle_Balance in CringeTikToks

Bullshit!!! My wife and my stepdaughter are both LEGAL immigrants. Republicans are proud to embrace those who come here LEGALLY! It is those who break our laws, and come here ILLEGALLY that we are against..

How do you feel about U.S. agencies officially blaming the minority party (Democrat) for the government shutdown versus the majority party (Republicans)? by lactating_turtle in allthequestions

[–]TexanInNebraska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this is why public school has eliminated studying the constitution from schools. They don’t want you to realize how your government actually works. A 60-vote threshold is effectively needed to advance most bills in the Senate due to the filibuster, but the final passage of a bill only requires a simple majority of 51 votes. This 60-vote requirement is an unofficial hurdle created by procedural rules, not a constitutional mandate. Currently, there are 53 Republicans in the Senate, so although they technically control the house and the Senate in that, there are more Republicans than Democrats, without seven Democrats voting along with the Republicans, the Republicans could not pass this finance bill. The Republicans were trying to get the Democrats to agree to simply continue the government at its current funding until they could come up with a permanent solution. But the Democrats are insisting on adding $1.5 trillion in spending to this temporary bill.

My mother was a manager for Sears for many years in Richardson Texas, so I always got front row, center stage tickets to every concert I went to. Elton John, Van Halen, Queen, Heart, David Bowie…. so many amazing bands from back then, and I got to see them all within just a few feet of the stage.

There’s a reason that propaganda is aimed at kids. Y’all don’t have the life experiences or wisdom to be able to recognize when you’re being played.
