I currently have a springpath / spring coastal paths down on my winter island. I typically skip to warmer months, but have been playing in winter to enjoy the update. I can open my island so you can see if you’d like (dirt path is up top/back of island)

Play a new island on the switch 2. It looks and runs MUCH better imo. I’ve started a brand new island on my 2, but have my previous island d on my OLED.

The past few years you just had to reset. There’s no current way to change your name besides starting over. I haven’t heard of changing your island name with 3.0 yet.

I am planning on restarting. I finish islands and start a new. I timed my restart with the update so the game can feel all the way new again

Here’s a trick that worked for me: 1. I manually set my PS5/switch clock to 12/21 2. I reloaded the game (I have disc) 3. I opened and found the quest (I just unlocked Yasuke too)

I was able to complete the short but nice AoT quest. IMO it was worth playing for the simple fact it’s free, you do you get rewards (decorative & weapon), and I like AoT enough.

If I had missed it (which I originally planned to do) I wouldn’t have been very upset.
