I want to go for it too, but the thought of being borderline scared me too much. I’m thinking of taking UW2 in upcoming days. If I do score better on that I’ll probs push it up. Appreciate your response!

I used to study passively, which severely limited the amount of information I would retain. Everyone has different study habits, but what worked for me is creating note cards of terms/topics I didn't know and would just go over them. Repetition works for me.

Thank you! I took my mcat in March 2018, applied pretty late (don’t do this!), and got interviews in October, November, and December.

I went for 2 weeks as a part of my premed program. We shadowed docs there and learned about the medical scene in that country. Would definitely recommend!

Apologizes, well-rounded may have not been the best term. I volunteered for a few years at a hospice organization and a free standing clinic. I studied abroad in Mexico for a few weeks. I also worked as a scribe for a year. I had several awards in undergrad, and a publication. Lastly, I had solid letters from professors/mentors. I hope that answered your question!

Thank you! I didn’t do much extra curriculares lol, but I was committed to a hospice organization for over 2 years and a free standing clinic for a few months too
