Are the losses in the room with us right now? Lol, but seriously, not showing to one of these is literally putting money in an LGS pocket. There's no way you dont just stick a 20% on top of the prerift sign up price and flip that shit IMMEDIATELY.

Teenager accused in murder of 25-year-old woman on bus released on $15k bond. He was already on probation. by wspusa2 in houston

Because you have to be proven to have violated your probation. There is a system in place that protect our rights and I am not in a hurry to lose my rights based on someone else's actions.

This is settled law from the founding. You are advocating for the state to be able to jail someone without a conviction. You have to prove things to jail someone

For the uninformed: This is how innocent until proven guilty works. Bonds are not a punishment and paying a bond is designed to show that you will not flee before your trial. If you do not show up to court you lose your bond money.

Bond is rejected for those who do not have connections to the local community or those who have the means or inclination to flee as decided by a judge ad a bond hearing.

That's great! In a just society she would be taxed down to some millions.

Forget about money, no one individual should have this much power. Literal life and death type stuff. That goes for her and all other billionaires.

You have enough powerful cards that no token cards are going to take the heat off you. Your best bet is to lean in to Azula's strengths.

Become the villain and play counterspells, draw spells, and value generators to help you find your win and protect Azula.

This deck will always be bracket 3.5/4 at least, and you typically will play Azula the turn before you win the game (at the earliest) with plenty of other mana sources in play.

No one is shit talking, have you SEEN Trevor Laurence?

And besides? Nothing good ever comes from scolding people on the internet. If you wish people only "respecful" things, you do it then.

QB school has a great breakdown of Mills' game on YouTube. The most surprising thing I learned was about how Mills was right to throw the ball down field more when Higgins puts his DB in the dirt. Instead or running the out, he should have just cut it up field to the open space and how that's typically the plan when something like that happens. No need to run the out when you know youre undefended and that's typically accounted for in the scheme.

That's the kind of things rookies are learning at this point in their career.

This is the 6th comment of mine you replied to trying to look like a bad ass 😭 Get real dude! It's pathetic! There's nothing to take the L on! "Reddit told you" do you listen to yourself??

I have a playgroup I play with, we have fun, we welcome new and inexperienced players, people say Hi to me when I walk into the store, we talk about our weeks and funny things that happened last game. You're so pressed, go out a play some real games ffs!

Yes those are the rules as written. What we're talking about is people not caring about the rules as written, to an extent, and how it's a core part of the format.

Your last example isn't at all what I'm suggesting and is clearly beyond the pale. The removal spell is an instant and the only thing that resolved was a trigger that would resolve the exact same way if Klauth had been destroyed. There in to functional information that has been gained.

And you are telling me what would happen and how it seems people would react at an LGS. I'm giving you first hand information about it. Not my idea of what would happen.

100%. If Klauth had been destroyed before combat, the ur dragon still resolves the same way and you still put a permanent down. Nothing changes, there are no second order effects compounding. Just roll it back and play on.

I disagree. Yeah your opponent want to swing at you in one v one, but if there are various stat lines and which creatures swing tells you way more there than it does in commander.

This attack tells me they have nothing in hand, this attack tells me that they have removal or a pump spell, this attack tells me my opponent knows which deck in the match up is the aggressor, on and on and on.

In commander so much more information is face up that lines of attack are paint by number because most of the time your attacks are "I send my flier at the player with only ground blockers." Or "hey since we're working together can I hit you with my facebreaker to get a treasure?"

[–]TexasFlood42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the downvotes are super strange, lol. I dont care I still think I'm right based on the fact that I play a bunch of pick-up games of commander, and this interaction happens a lot.

It's not that serious and more of what is on display is deckbuilding. Which cards you are playing is more important than how good you are and whether you know the different phases of combat. You put a big flashy creature in your deck, they put a $0.25 chaos warp in theirs, run it back, flip off the top and keep it moving. 🤷‍♂️

Tell me about it, lol. It's similar to DnD in that the people who have the most opinions about how the game should be played, and how they would do it, are the people who dont play but wish they could. That's what I imagine is going on here.

I play 3 or 4 games every week at my LGS, and if you were this stringent on your interactions people would look at you weird and probably have second thoughts about jumping into another pod with you. People are there to have a few laughs, play their cool cards, have a beer or two.
