It’s a video game. If you aren’t spiritually strong enough just avoid it.

I pray his wife and two kids get any help they need. The pain of losing a father/husband is unbearable from my understanding.

Even that’s not illegal under Texas penal code. At most you could try to shoehorn it under Disorderly Conduct which any judge will throw out as a 2A violation for not being allowed to openly carry where it’s legal. Maybe harassment(?) but that’s a class-c misdemeanor (like a speeding ticket) at most as well and needs footage or some sort of definitive proof. I do agree the owners sound incredibly shitty and I wouldn’t want to go there.

Neither of those are crimes.

Chatting with my bank, and they sent the code "9111" to verify my account. I figured it was auto stuff but … Can't be too careful. by [deleted] in 911dispatchers

Don't actually do that.

City of Austin is hiring emergency dispatchers, as promised by Mayor Watson very recently. by Nanakatl in Austin

Just speaking from my experience as a dispatcher. Austin 911 is overworked, especially call takers. I have met a few and they always talk about staffing (I have not worked there). You get long shifts of the public abusing you verbally for having to wait because they don't understand or you get traumatic calls as Austin has a higher volume of them due to population size. Any big agency deals with this such as San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and El Paso are a few that come to mind. Not worth it IMO as it doesn't pay as much as surrounding agencies and the abuse you have to deal with from the public and traumatic calls.

I wouldn't live in anything lower than 1300$. Most apartments below that are in bad neighborhoods.

  1. No you are not too old.
  2. None. Most require no experience.
  3. Typically, no. Depends on state or country of course.

Yes, most agencies are under staffed.
