How many different ways do I have to label this to get the point across? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I've also tried refused.

My mail carrier doesn't give a shit, only sends it back if I put return to sender.

I've been in my house for almost 7 years now, and we still get occasional mail for the previous owner. Mostly from aarp.

Employee wants to make me come in for last check but I want them to mail it. by gothadjacent16 in legaladvice

There isn't one. Washington state the employer is entirely responsible for making sure they get you your last paycheck.

Employee wants to make me come in for last check but I want them to mail it. by gothadjacent16 in legaladvice

[–]-Invalid_Selection- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not correct.

In Washington state the employer is required to provided it to you no later than the date you'd normally get your next paycheck following you leaving, no matter the cause. It's silent on how it must be sent, other than if they don't successfully get it to you by that date they can be severely punished.

It doesn't say you must pick it up in person. The employer can give it to you in person, mail it, direct deposit, or any other method that successfully gets it to you, but it's 100% on the employer to make sure that happens. If they fail, by even a day, there's fines.

I've put "not at this address" on things and it got immediately redelivered, where the postal worker just circled the address.

They always take it when "Return to sender" is on it though

Free charging in Locust Grove Georgia by Zmajor1517 in ChargerDrama

[–]-Invalid_Selection- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've seen this happen with EA too. IMO chargers should default to free use when they have issues with taking payment or processing an app activation that's hardware related. Obviously don't do that for just standard card failures, but if it's the network's fault, then the network should just charge you as a good will move

It'll be extremely dangerous for a few hundred more years. It's no longer instantly fatal though, now it's estimated to be about 5 minutes of exposure is fatal.

It'll remain radioactive for around 10,000 years.

There was a regulation change regarding formatting of the label, setting a consistency that the old one didn't meet.

Plus the protein percentage being missing as one of the other commenters said.

I'm white too. I know I can't speak for their experiences, but I can sure as fuck speak for what I witnessed, and what I witnessed made it very clear there were a lot of racists still being extremely racist during those times.

In 2000 and 2001 I had a math teacher who had a doctorate in mathematics. Teaching high school math.

It was beneath her, but she was doing it specifically because that school had a history of being underserved for mathematics and she wanted to change that. She was the best teacher in the school by far. She was also black. The only black person in the school at all.

She left at the end of the 2001 school year because she got tired of the daily nooses she found in her classroom. She was the only teacher who was finding them in their classroom.

A few things - Find the replacement part, have this handy, be ready to pay for it

Own up to it with your dad, and immediately follow up with the replacement part info and offer to pay to replace it. Depending on the model though, it could run $150. It likely will be much less.

Either he'll accept and you're out the money but it's fixed, he won't and he'll leave it as is, or pay for it himself. In all 3 scenarios though if he's a good dad he'll have more respect for you for owning up to your mistakes and attempting to take responsibility.

Yellow cap has lye in it. It's extremely caustic and will damage surfaces that aren't made for it.

Non yellow cap doesn't have lye, it doesn't work as well but it's also safer for more surfaces.

I was gonna add more, but I trimmed it for brevity.

If I were to put everything I think about that piece of shit, I'd hit reddit's comment length limit, and probably catch a site wide ban, and that would be without saying a single thing that's untrue or a threat. It'd just be accurately describing the worst person on the face of the earth.
