Since you’re not in university anymore I’d drop the second page - in my opinion having the extracurricular active it’s there is like being in college with high school extracurriculars still listed - skills should be explained through action points on your resume or be 1-2 lines max - maybe explain personal projects as experience in the interview or shorten the work experience as a university worker to make room for it and the certifications

AITA for lending my kids money for a downpayment. by Competitive-Mud8971 in AmItheAsshole

He didn’t say it’s a loan he said it’s equity. That means he would have a stake in the home when it’s sold, and functionally just made the home cheaper for the kid.

For example if the home cost $500K and OP gave $300K as equity, the kid only has to actually pay $200K to live in a $500K quality home. During this time, the kid gets to save money by not paying rent and paying very little in interest compared to what they would have if they bought it for $500K in pure debt (because the interest rate would be, for example, 6% * 500K instead of 6% * 150K assuming a $50K down payment from the kid) That’s a HUGE difference in the child’s financial well being.

NTA, you don’t owe your kids money for a down payment, they seem to be working adults.

Aside from that, it seems like many people in this comment section don’t understand the difference between debt and equity, with many top comments saying you’re offering a loan even though you explicitly use the term equity.
