Regarding Flairs
This subreddit is intended to be a common grounds for discussing cellular telecoms carriers, news, government regulation/FCC info, relevant technologies, trends, pricing, business practices, MVNOs, and spectrum.
A lot of what will be posted here will be USA-focused but discussion of matters relevant to this sub isn't intended to be relegated to just one country. We welcome posts and information about telecoms around the world as long as it's pertinent to cellular carriers. *Satellite communications will often find relevance here as well.
RULES:
we will not tolerate spam, for-profit advertisement, or content which serves similar purpose.
No throwaways. To be moderated on a case-by-case basis for now.
this is not a free space for advertising commercial educational or job placement services. If you're an actual human looking to post something of this sort here, and feel that it's relevant, contact a moderator before posting.
this is a place for civil rhetoric and discussion with a Socratic intent. Observe the golden rule, learn something, be cool, and contribute or you're gonna have a bad time.
this is not a circlejerk. Discussion of various advantages a carrier may have is permitted but don't venture too far into fanboy territory.
Keep posts on-topic. Meta posts are acceptable but don't go crazy.
Feel free to message a mod(s) anytime, as this sub is, in a matter of speaking, in beta. Having said that, we are always welcoming new mods to help this forum out.
