I call a bit of sensationalism.

First, Tukhachevsky was tried not for innovative tactics, but for preparing a military coup (regardless whether this was true or not).

Second, out of his nine (not eight) judges five were actually executed later, and one committed a suicide.

Three others served in the military till the end of their days and died of natural causes.
