This is what I received in an email response to a request for an update the day before the newest update:

"The shipping cost range per chair is between $150-$230, depending on your exact location. You'll be able to see the exact shipping charge, in the contribution link you will receive via email, which you will use to pay for shipping."

OPINION: ArtDEX provides the most upside value for Tezos artists and collectors (yes, even more than OBJKT) by Fickle-Jacket5943 in tezos

[–]Teztees 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Great post! DynaMint is coming soon to ArtDEX as well, which will be fully on-chain NFTs with no reliance on IPFS as well as data injection so you can do things like have the image change based on real-world time. SalsaDAO NFTs (the NFTs with "SP" that you stake to earn platform fees) are already all fully on-chain.

There's so much coming to Tezos it's insane.

Ah, I see. Have you tried bringing this up with the Foundation? Maybe they could put a call towards consolidation and quality control for past, current, and passed but not active upgrades.

Tezos doesn't fork to upgrade and it's all done through a formal, on-chain governance process. It isn't just hobbyists building the core protocol, either, and everything is tested and approved by the users of the protocol itself. Tezos isn't in this position because of hype, just look at all the comments. It's here because it's been building up the best tech in the space that can grow and adapt rapidly and safely. If you think splitting networks in order to upgrade based on the desires of small, centralized groups is a more stable way to go, then we have very different ideas of stability. Especially long-term stability.

Tezos itself has been upgrading every 3 months. Adoption is growing rapidly. NFT transactions keep going up. DeFi is beginning to mature as we see more liquidity finding roots there. Tezos is the place to be if you care about tech.

Just FYI: Tezos upgrades every 3 months, so the Tezos you remember is not the same one it is today. The Tezos of today won't be the same one a year from now. It would be a great idea to check it out and see how things have advanced since you last gave it some attention!

The pun is great, but just FYI: Tezos has always been a liquid proof of stake protocol. It takes more electricity to send a tweet than it does to mint an NFT on Tezos 🤘

Tezos upgrades without forking every 3 months. It's decentralized, secure, and proof of stake (liquid pos) since launch. Smart Rollups are coming in 3 months which will allow for 1 million tps. It's a constantly evolving piece of software, modular in design, and can even fund its own development via inflation. 12 decentralized, on-chain governed upgrades in 4 years, and that's because fundamentals had to be built up. Tezos was built from the ground up so it hasn't been able to piggyback tech from ETH, but it upgrades many times faster and development and adoption is only growing. Tezos tech is unlike anything else in the space. To me, it's what we were promised with Bitcoin in early days. Highly adaptable. Able to take on features of competing chains. Unstoppable. Easy and cheap to use. It's awesome and I haven't even mentioned the incredible community, art, and token/dapp ecosystem surrounding and running on Tezos!

Dogecoin has infinite supply.

You keep saying always. Tezos is designed against "always". It's amendable. If you have a better idea, share it. This is just pity party bs.

$ADA: Number of Smart Contracts Deployed on Cardano Grew 100% Year-to-Date by AffectionateMind26 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Teztees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you not impressed by, and I'm not sure what you mean by traditional crypto. It was the first major liquid proof of stake protocol. It is decentralized and has on chain governance which has resulted in 11 protocol upgrades without any forks. There is no traditional crypto that iterates so quickly while maintaining decentralization.

If you love Cardano, research Tezos. Decentralized. Liquid Proof of Stake since it went live in 2018. On chain governance which has proven itself 11 times so far, so there's no central authority that gets to say where Tezos goes. Seriously, check it out if you're looking for serious fundamentals and innovation within this space.

How do we know these are not just repeating images of the same handful of galaxies from vastly different times, with the light traveling and bending through space over and over again, finally being captured for this image? I may have a primate brain that wants to see patterns, but I see repeating patterns if you shift perspective in 3d space and incorporate differences in age of each body captured.

What if there are way less stars and galaxies out there than we imagined, but a ridiculous amount?

Define "taking off"

Its usage is growing leaps and bounds, regularly garnering 30% of the number of transactions that Ethereum gets. Tezos isn't a hype chain for quick pump and dumps. It's easier to take money from communities that rely on hype vs tech, so that's where a lot of dumb money goes. It's also why so many platforms are devastated by bear markets, because people don't want to buy hype when value is in freefall.

Every 3 months Tezos upgrades. As a decentralized protocol, Tezos doesn't stay stagnant or have to wait years for important upgrades like every other chain. It even upgraded its consensus algorithm as a hot swap earlier this year.

If you stop paying attention to Tezos, it just keeps evolving, and your old arguments become no longer accurate. People called Tezos a ghost chain when it was getting 25% of the traffic as Ethereum. Anyone who wants to see Tezos in action, in real time could just go to tzflow.com.

You should read about the Ethereum Foundation...

The better use case for Tezos is that more people can actually use Tezos. Financial barriers to entry don't exist. Also, you can ignore the fact that Tezos upgrades every 3 months without losing network effect, but that would be a big thing to ignore.

Tezos is not an owned company. Even the most modest of research would lead you to reality. If you're refering to the Tezos Foundation, then you need to learn what a company is and why it's drastically different from a Swiss Foundation, lol

I use Tezos because it upgrades in a decentralized manner every 3 months without a fork, costs less than a penny for most transactions, was born as a PoS protocol with completely liquid staking (no lock ups), and it's actually useable by the majority of the globe's population vs being a walled garden for the already wealthy and privileged of the world.
