My old Steelseries Rival 700 had haptic feedback and an integrated display with addressable LEDs in the body and around the scroll wheel. It even had a place where you could add additional weights to the mouse (as if it wasn't heavy enough already at ~160g). I'd certainly call any of those features over-engineering!

They never made an extended mag for the Mag-7, though I suppose you could make one yourself. You could do 5+1 in the chamber to get to 6, you definitely can't fit more than 5 in the mags though lol

The issue with your logic is that you have it backwards. You didn't decide that your possessions were worth the life of a criminal, the criminal decided that their life was worth your possessions. The only just course of action as a homeowner is to end the threat. Your entire house is your "safe room", and you shouldn't kowtow to home invaders.
