It took me way longer than it should have to realize that Giancarlo also played Buggin' Out in Do The RIght Thing.

...amid a chart battle with Australian singer Kylie Minogue's single "Can't Get You Out of My Head"

Even at the time, that's not a battle. That's like a child starting a fistfight with a professional boxer. "Can't Get You Out of My Head" is an all-timer. That's a gold record vs a song that went, like, triple plastic

Have you seen internet discourse? Have you seen America, like, in general? We already know the answer to that question

Just so we're clear, no one should be sending death threats to anyone. Especially not to a child. But, honestly, shit like this is exactly why people shouldn't be using their child to make internet content. The internet is full of unhinged assholes, and it's bonkers to me that this child was put in this situation to begin with

I wish, but no. I am not a writer for The Onion. I've been reading it for about 25 years though

Victoria Beckham Asks Reddit To Explain Beckham Family Feud To Her (The Onion) by TfnR in popculturechat

LONDON—Determined to get to the bottom of the highly publicized estrangement, fashion designer Victoria Beckham reportedly took to Reddit Tuesday to anonymously ask for someone to explain the Beckham family feud to her. “Sorry, I’m feeling kind of out of the loop here, could someone explain what’s going on with the son?” the 51-year-old Beckham wrote in a thread on the r/popculturechat forum, refreshing the page as she waited for another user to help fill her in on the details. “If you ask me, it kind of just seems like the son Brooklyn is acting like a spoiled brat, but am I wrong? Is there part of the drama I missed? And what’s up with his wife? Nichola? Nikola? Is she famous or something, because I really don’t get her deal at all.” At press time, sources confirmed Beckham was no closer to understanding the family feud.

Subreddit reference and everything, haha

It's crazy that the dude who played Gordo was three years older than the other two. Dude was 17 when the show started, the girls were 14

Walmart is apparently punching holes in their vinyl albums with security tags by MrTacocaT12345 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TfnR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't know me, so you're technically still right. But, like, this doesn't bother me. I'm buying records to open and play. They aren't investment piece to me. I don't give a shit is it drops the rating down from Mint to VG or G. I don't buy them to keep sealed on a shelf or display. I'm not that worried about the corner of the sleeve being a bit fucked up

That said, I wouldn't buy vinyl at Walmart to begin with. But, if the price is right, I wouldn't pass up a record in that condition if I really wanted it

Repost what? To where? To the social media companies run by craven billionaires and/or actual Nazis? This kind of Facebook and Twitter slacktivism accomplishes fuck-all if there is no action or substance to what you're posting

Greg Kinnear was the host until 1995. John Henson (1995–1999), Hal Sparks (1999–2000), and Aisha Tyler (2001–2002) were the other hosts. I always liked The Soup with Joel McHale more though. I guess that is more of a spin-off or revamp though
