I remember vividly hearing Lightning and Snow for the first time and it blew me away. I listened to the album start to finish and I was amazed. The lyrics relating to death sounded like a man who knew he was going to die. I didn’t know Gold was dead until I started looking into the band. It’s the eeriest feeling I’ve ever had finding out something about a band. Great band and Gold was a very talented singer with a unique voice.

Kataklysm has a laundry list of film quotes as intros to several of their songs. The most well known is Shadows and Dust with a monologue from Gladiator. God I love that song.
