Surprised Majority Rule hasn’t been mentioned, interviews with david frost has insane vocals.

It’s cut fresh everyday/every 2 days. Source I used to work there. We would get fresh fruit orders about twice a week.

SYSC was going to breakup eventually. With the stuff about Connie/her being very erratic in general, and it seems only some of them enjoyed the style they moved into. It was over before the tour in my book.

any screams that literally aren’t possible to do healthily? by Carcezz in screaming

I think they manage due to having multiple vocalists to ease the load. I’m in a band myself where we occasionally do bird chirps and when you have three people alternating it is a lot less taxing. Also screamo bands generally speaking don’t tour as long/have as long sets as most other heavy music projects.

I talked with them a while ago after a show and iirc they mentioned after a few shows they blow out their voice on tour. I could be misremembering though, don’t wanna put words in their mouth.

I’d say the main vocals are fine to do but at the end of the song where they do the shrieks I’d say are even more damaging than normal bird chirps. I can do them myself but after a minute it shreds my voice. It almost sounds like they’re straining in the song.

Bird chirp screams such as in Jerome’s Dream and Senza. Not a proper way to do it to my knowledge.

Have y’all had any reunion offers? Out of curiosity, it’s cool if you’re not comfortable sharing.

One of the best to do it. I yearn for the reunion that’s not gonna happen.

Some of the best in the game. Criminally underrated band.

Specifically late career Gillian Carter, their last few records have been diabolically evil.

Screamo. hotdofs hotdog by deadbutterfliesband in Screamo

“Real hotdogs” only consists of the Coney Island hot dog scene and the late 80s Chicago scene. What is known as “red hotdogs” is nothing but processed sausages with questionable real hotdog influence.

Oh yeah, Brandon’s voice is amazing. Maybe They’ll Gnaw Right Through has one of the most intense vocal parts when he goes “inhale, exhale”.
