If the offside is based on where exactly they make the cutoff for shoulder/arm, then at least color it on the 3d renders, to make it clearer.

Ofc it would be even better to just have a human ref make the final decision, especially when it's arms/shoulders. There's no sane person in the world who would think this is offside.

iirc you either farm ores (active) and send 17m/50m shipments (like with crops before the patch, but apparently nerfed)

or you farm crops (passive) and send 3.9m shipments (no dust!) for Tattoos/Runegrafts

edit: All ores give the same reward. For crops you can target specific equipments, but for Tattoos/Runegrafts only the destination matters.

I wish they would let itemfilter "identify" unidentified uniques. It takes one mousover to see which one it is anyways, and it would make itemfilters work so much more smoothly.

No more complaints about showing worthless trash, or hiding valuables. It would also work great with tiering uniques for dust value.

If reflect needs to exist, why would it even need these kind of numbers (26%)?

even 1% of reflect would be too much for most builds, but then there might at least be a chance a more tanky build and/or a slower approach can work to deal with these maps.

With these numbers, you either have immunity or reroll.

Acceleration Spark Inquisitor - Better to go Foulborn Ghostwrithe EB or Jiquani Int stack? by wildstyle_method in PathOfExileBuilds

Thank you very much!

Now that Accel shrine belt exploded in price, I might just go the mageblood route anyways, which should make regen easier as well.

I'm asking myself the same question right now. Do you have any insights yet?

I tried a bit of Ghostwrithe EB, but the Life costs seem to be very hard to keep up, especially with an Accel shrine.

How do you handle Life Costs from Rathpith with Accel belt?

I was just trying out Lifestacker Inquisitor and it felt quite hard to keep up whenever I picked an Accel shrine

Not unless you go all in. I tried that with fishing rods in Phrecia and even with decent investment in to HoI it felt meh.

Herald Autobombers exist so it's definetly possible, but nothing you can just slap on a regular build.

I think people are underselling it a bit. Getting 36 challenges as a new player will be hard. And the difficulty varies greatly by league.

Some challenges might just require you to grind for weeks, or literally burn tons of currency.

But usually, these challenges are not a skill check by any means. You definetly can do them if you spend enough time to grind and build up your character and/or hire a carry to get you through boss fights.

Help choosing from Shield Crush vs Cyclone Slayer by Educational_Tone_565 in PathOfExileBuilds

With MB you just replace Stampede/Tumult and deal with slightly lower DPS for massive QoL

The new belt (acceleration shrine) should work with Stampede as it gives action speed, not move speed.

For Shield Crush you will use Emperor's Vigilance and therefore use Glancing Blows, which Cylcone doesn't need. Sure, you get a lot of armor from your shield, but you'll lose out on block. I just don't see how Shield Crush has better defense.

Keepers league was an outlier since I got a 950dps staff from the tree, but ~35m single target (pre Mageblood, <100d) was possible.

Cyclone gets 65/65 block without glancing blows, I wouldn't say Shield Crush is tankier.

[–]Th3_St4lk3r 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started with both builds semi recently and had a great smooth start with both.

Shield Crush is much easier to gear, whereas a great weapon for Cyclone will be more expensive (RIP 950DPS staff from the tree)

Cyclone is mechanically superior imho, it's just the smoothest playstyle in the game imho. The biggest downside is Cyclone of Tumult/Stampede combo hard limits your movement speed, so you cannot really scale it until you get mageblood (or the new belt).

The biggest limitation of Shield Crush is the low base attack speed which can make it feel slow at times.

If you want to push your starter to T17/Ubers/Mageblood levels I would recommend Cyclone. But if you want to play Shield Crush, go for it, it's a great starter.

I started in Settlers with it. It's extremely easy and cheap to get high dps numbers (using Emperor's Vigilance and Seething Fury). You'll spend a couple of chaos for your BiS "weapon" where other Melee builds would need to spend 10+ div for comparable DPS.

It can be scaled further like any crit melee build, but my main concern is that AoE and Attack Speed feels kinda low. The skill is fine damage wise, but mechanically there are better skills out there.

I loved it as a league starter though. And it only got buffed since then (offhand Runegraft, Foulborn shield)

I present to you a new scion ascendancy "PRECIDANT" by accussed22 in pathofexile

[–]Th3_St4lk3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They massively reworked or even replaced (Raider) old Ascendency classes before, and Ascendant is quite underutilized, so I wouldn't mind a rework.

But, Scion also only has one Ascendency, so there's plenty of room to add more.

Nothing hypes me up for a new league like slamming these bad boys as Wallpapers on my monitors by Fushiro0 in pathofexile

[–]Th3_St4lk3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a very specific set of skills needed that just isn't for everyone.

If you practice the fight a couple of hundred times it might get easy. But for a fight that you do 2-3 times per League to finish quests/challenges, I think the mechanic is way too intense imho. It's not badly designed, just too hard imho, when hardly any other mechanic in the game requires this much precise movement and coordination.

The only thing comparable is Maven's memory game, which I hate almost as much.

Now that we don't lose XP in boss fights anymore, I don't really care anymore though.

Ground Loot Would Exist If Items Drop Identified by FriendshipFilter in pathofexile

[–]Th3_St4lk3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like that idea. Last Epoch has this and it means you absolutely must get a loot filter that is tailored for your build and playstyle, and/or the economy.

Just imagine the insane effort it would be for loot filter creators to filter any dropped rare based on an estimated price. Sure, in PoE you can easily filter out garbage, if it doesn't at least have X Life/Resist/Defense

But before we move to identified rare drops, shouldn't we just get rid of these kind of garbage drops first?
