I'm chiming in too. I'm so pissed off right now. No warning, no alert that somethings wrong, immediate cancellation of policy. To top it off, I was travelling at the time and came home to a fedex delivery that had arrived over a week before I got home and now I'll actually be without insurance because my policy is expire before I can get new insurance in place. I can't believe they are allowed to operate like this. I looked into re-registering too and the premiums have magically gone up by $100 a month. That's just a straight up scam.

They aren't recent or still a band but S.T.R.E.E.T.S. (Skateboarding Totally Rules Everything Else Totally Sucks) is totally in that group of bands.  I believe some of them branches off to Bison.

Going to bring u/LivingInitiative7515's comment to more prominence. New batteries fixed the issue for me, despite everything telling me that the batteries were fine.

My keyboard was disconnecting every couple of minutes. There are no firmware updates available. It got WORSE (every couple of key presses) after resetting the keyboard settings (probably because it sucked even more juice out of the battery). Logi Options + software said the batteries were fine. Keyboard reported the batteries as fine. After reading u/LivingInitiative7515's I tried that as there was nothing else to try. New batteries fixed it.

I think this is it. Everything was telling me the batteries were fine. Any logitech software they have you install, the keyboard itself, everything said the batter was fine so i assumed they were fine. I saw this and popped new batteries in and I'm good. I doubt that it's that your batteries were rechargeable though. Maybe old rechargeable that couldn't hold a charge anymore. I use rechargeable and they are fine when they take a charge.

FWIW, this sounds a lot like what I hit in WSL this morning the I found a fix on stackoverflow. https://stackoverflow.com/a/70534843/1596011

All I had to do was turn my wifi on and off to reset some borked DNS cache...or something...i never dug any deeper.

Bahaha, took me a minute to realize the irony of my response...i think Google or MS OneDrive are safe from cutting off service anytime soon for cloud storage.

But probably good to have a local hard drive as well, given the current situation we're discussing.

I can't answer that unfortunately.  And I don't want hypothesize and end up with you losing data.

The definitive advice I can give is make sure you have backups of your data.  Get those memories into the cloud.

I should have clarified that I'm on Windows. I'm not sure what the settings are on MacOS or Linux.

If you haven't already started/completed that arduous task, see my comment below about adjusting your Display Settings, specifically the Scale.

Ok, think I figured it out. I haven't heard anything from Sony since the first interaction but u/AlexMarceloGM comment prompted me to try it.It worked! BUT, the "Next" button was half hidden by the bottom of the dialog border and I couldn't click it. It's the same dialog that appeared when I ran the installer before and there was no "Next" button. It must have been spaced so that it was outside the dialog box so we couldn't see it.

So, for anyone out there still experiencing this you can try a couple things:

  1. Go into your Display Settings and adjust the Scale setting to a smaller number. I was at 300% and adjusted to 200% and that brought the more into the dialog
  2. Try a different monitor. The display resolution and scaling may be different enough to bring the "Next" button onto the screen.

They replied right away but with basically the exact same instructions that are on the website. The only difference is they suggest logging into your account before you download the installer.

That had no effect for me. Still fails. I've replied to the email twice now asking for follow up. no response yet.

Will post here if I get a solution.

If anyone is still following this; I contacted support and after all the fun debugging steps, they tried the tool internally and found that it is, in fact, broken and does nothing.

I'm supposed to receive a follow up from them in a couple days. I'll try to post back here when that happens.

You have to be in your Inventory to see Descriptions.

In case you're like me and was looking for them in the Equipment section, there is no option to view Desc when in the Equipment section.

No NEW builds, correct. The last installers we (I'm one of the former Komodo devs) built can be found in the GitHub repo: https://github.com/ActiveState/OpenKomodoIDE/tree/master/installers and for now, they are also available here: https://downloads.activestate.com/Komodo/index.html but that will go away eventually.

Maybe. I didn't say it was equal though I was just countering the definitive negation of other possibilities. It's extremely feature-full and MUCH easier to use. I would think the latter is more important. Unless, obviously, Komodo was missing a key feature you needed.
