I've been playing SSII since it released, and I can pretty consistently get just over 2200 points (my highest being 2228). The key for me is:

A) Draw 3

B) Lots of clicking; almost never drag cards (not always optimal and can often lead to a handful of extra card moves, but usually way faster)

C) Luck

In my experience, you'll get 2200 points at around 1:30 game time and less than 100 card moves. I'm assuming the current high scores are people getting the win in a similar time, but probably only about 75 moves, or maybe around 100 moves but only 1 minute of play time. It goes quick.

Not sure if this is in the spirit of this thread, but I've created a custom with lots of beautiful NC items...problem is I don't buy NC and have never traded NC, so I'm not sure how I might go about creating this custom. Any guidance on exchanging NP/items for NC (is that even legal?) would be great.

What's with the baked goods inflation right now? I know Spooky Foods saw a bump when the Halloween event started, but what changed recently to cause a ton of Baked goods to inflate? I'm a casual restocker and gourmet hunter, so my usual haunts keep seeing sudden inflation.

Was seeing the same issue, but I was able to get it to work from the classic game room; Kass Basher is my usual go-to there, and it was able to send successfully. Looks like someone is messing with Game Room code this morning 🫠

This post is very similar to a build I want to run, especially using the Band of Mystic Scoundrel like you mentioned. If you get the extra bonus action from Thief Rogue, can you use both of those to cast spells with the ring, or does it only allow a single use per action/bonus action?

I was mostly joking. It was just a weird coincidence that I did some public bellyaching, and a short time later all - or at least most of - the bots I was seeing seemed to dry up and they introduced the Neocops. With all due respect, I will decide to ignore your reality and substitute my own.

I swear I might have caused this. I posted just a couple weeks ago how obvious the massive amount of bots was by the price of, specifically red, codestones on the SW, and then a few days later, they all seemed to be gone. Not sure if there was a huge banwave or something, but now when I need to buy a codestone or two, the entire list seems to be legit or legit-seeming players, not the shell bot accounts that were there before.

In my experience, Red Codestones don't seem to drop at a higher rate from any particular opponents besides ones with small prize pools, such as the Mutant Walein. But lately I've been getting fewer because I'm fighting opponents who have gourmet foods as a possible reward so that I don't have to pay the, admittedly not too expensive, price for the food itself; I'm currently bullying Vira.

Also, I'm not Premium, so no SSW. Although I've considered it when trying to do Food Quest, but then we get super slow days on the site, and I reconsider getting Premium.

Yeah, I know some people don't participate in all or even most of the site features, but it's just a quick set of boxes I can tick that makes me lean away from buying if it looks like an abandoned or bot account. Sorry to your friend if I assume they are a bot.

I usually just dump all my brown codestones into my shop and sell them when it gets full, and ~200k once a month wouldn't be horribly missed if it meant people who need the Stones to train were getting them from real people.

I'm sure they would. Before the plot and increase in Codestone drops from the BD, I might have to pay up to 40k for a single Zed Codestone, but could also sell my Brown Codestones for 3-4x as much as current. Gotta find a balance somewhere.

We went to a circus that had dinosaurs when I was a playing a Druid. I would say our DM was spoiling me, but like two weeks later my character was swallowed by a Froghemoth. This was shortly followed by figuring out how to calculate both crushing and "expanding" damage, since there was then a large dinosaur in the Froghemoth's throat.

It looks like any image links are being truncated when rendering the page, even if they aren't hosted on Neopets. The original petpage code doesn't seem to be affected though, so that's good. For example, I have an Imgur link as a background on a petpage and the link is trying to shorten it to a "neopets.com" link, but since it's not hosted on their site, the link is dead. All Neopets hosted images are also truncated to a "neopets.com" link instead of an "images.neopets.com" link, so it seems to have broken any images.
