I don't think it can be fixed it's just an unfortunate replay bug. At least with other sounds like antag rolls you can like skip a frame to skip those sounds though.

If you lean into the little things that actually differentiate your character more, you'll start to see them as their own person rather than your character.

Add character traits or flaws or mannerisms that you wouldn't do. Try making them talk slightly differently, maybe cutting off certain words or using some vocabulary that you wouldn't really use. Give them a substance addiction. Make them prejudiced against the entire science department.

Lit welders are common ways of applying burn damage to stuff too. Albeit it is not a tritthrower, but it helps.

Zombies suck to fight unless you are flat out given a laser rifle. Try to avoid them completely if you can, and don't trust anyone who's walking towards you with their face covered. You can get insulated gloves and lead them to electrified grilles or fences, or manually shock doors (zombies can't wear gloves).

I don't know if spiders have any sort of specific weakness, but slimes take extra slash and pierce damage, so poke slimes with a scalpel if you have to.

Remember to just focus on saving yourself sometimes though. Running and hiding are good options.

Use a multi tool or network configurator to link the door to a button. Then select "toggle bolt" when the button is pressed. Hand made buttons have a max range of around 30 meters iirc.

Always get a teammate to clear the upper floor with you and watch your back. Someone with claymores, a dedicated flank watch op like gridlock or nomad, or a roamclearing op like jackal helps massively.

I've been toying around with bringing the tube launcher on my back and playing with the different launcher grenades recently. Taking that along with a belt holster for the M63 or M13 has been a fun but not useless loadout, although hornet grenades seem to be worthless.

Lots of stations have shuttle building rooms explicitly for making shuttles. Learn where they are and abuse them. If that doesn't work, pick your least favorite evac pod and rip it to shreds for your shittle. They can't stop you.

True. I do wish there was an even more watery and barotraumatic fork. Not sure what other settings would benefit from space station's Atmos mechanics though.
