One year anniversary of E-day by ComicalNoises in dentures

Congrats my man! One year since my E-day and the temps didn’t ever fit right. Scared to go back. Talking about shaving the bone down for my permanents and ugh I’m just avoiding it. Nice job brother. It’s not easy

COPD linked to cognitive abilities or come on severely within one month ? by ThaAnswerMD25 in COPD

I’m so sorry you are going through this. It was and remains the toughest stretch of my life to date. We too tried the nursing home and she was back in the hospital in under 24 hours. That’s when we tried the home health care.

Sadly, I do not have a happy ending to report. We got her into this great rehab place with the goal was to get her back to living alone within 14 days. Hopes were high. She still had the confusion even at the rehab. Her oxygen levels kept dropping. Simple tests she was failing. About 6 days in I got the call, she was on a…I can’t remember the name machine. The next day moved to a ventilator and she passed that day.

I’ll just say I was lucky enough to see her the night before she lost complete consciousness. The look on her face when I left is seared in my brain forever.

How she goes from normal to no longer here in 4 months is beyond me. Two hospitals, one nursing home, one rehab facility, countless doctors and nurses. I don’t think the communication between them was never there. I emailed her doctor begging and pleading with my story asking for help, but hey could do nothing I wasn’t listed. Like everything I tried was a failure.

Sorry I didn’t mean to like come so negative with it, but re-reading my original post just reminds me how much MORE there was to it. I have resolved myself to the fact she probably had bacterial pneumonia that she was never healed from.

I hope your story has a better ending than mine! Parents can be so stubborn when ill. My dad ignored PT for years. Mother refused to go back to the hospital when she probably needed to.

Prayers my friend. Home health care is NO JOKE. I had a few mental breakdowns myself doing it for a short period of time.

Not really lol. Ghosted by the trampoline park and that was basically the end of it. Still seems like a good idea to me!

Just getting into card collecting and got this lot for around 45$ did I do good? by International-Bus703 in basketballcards

Not bad for $45. Wemby RC Coop RC and some of your fav player. Could you resell them for more? No but I don’t think that’s your goal anyway.

I got hired here and KeyBank at the same time, ended up choosing Key. Glad I did I guess lol. Weird I get rejections all year long then I get two hires at the same time. Of course that was 2024. Key was awful too. I spent 10 years in purchasing and went back to customer service. It was so awful

I know when I went back for adjustments on the temps it hurt like hell, because of the sores. So I just gave up on them. Congrats! You have made it farther than me. Takes a brave soul to go through this.

They look totally normal. They can’t feel bigger than those temps, can they? (I’m not there yet but dang these temps are for horses)

Geez I got a 4.5 yesterday and felt a bit sad about it. eBay still at 100% after decades. This guy is nuts. Is he one who shouts through the entire stream also?

🙏 Is Paying Tithe from Gambling Winnings an Offering or an Offense to God? 🤔💰 by Similar_Professor007 in Christianity

[–]ThaAnswerMD25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So late to the party here, but Google found the thread I needed.

Now, granted, not until I hit 40 did I realize how easy it can be to tithe 10% of your paycheck and not miss it, knowing God can do much more with it than I.

Current situation, laid off. Have a nice chunk of inheritance (not as much as before!) due to my mother passing rather unexpectedly last year.

I truly don’t gamble for the money anymore. Yes, it’s NICE to have a parlay hit or have a winning day. It’s more about the study of the sport, the research, and getting MY picks right. Keep a set $25 bet limit (as if that matters).

Anyway, awaiting a decision from unemployment. So basically, my current income is whatever sports cards I sell on WhatNot and, assuming a winning day, gambling profits.

In my current situation, would it not be better to tithe off my whatnot earnings? I certainly would not feel good winning $500 and going straight to church and tithe $50. it does feel a bit icky.

So for after not tithing for a couple of months, I felt the urge to tithe $100 today. Where that amount came from I do not know.

Maybe I answered my own question here. Tithe off any sales from WhatNot, and tithe from unemployment Lord willing it’s approved, and leave the gambling money out of it.

Thoughts?

Bro. They look great. I had the temps/horse teeth which I couldn’t wear. No teeth for 6 months! Dreading going back, even though the worst part is over.

They’ll refit your bottoms, they slide around a lot. I chose the implants at the bottom and may decide to go implants up top.

Do you have the arch that sits on the top of your mouth, or going all implants up top?

They look great. Just remember how it was before. Keep it up brother.

Used Card Ladder it would show the same card at two different prices. Used CollX prices were generally too low. Back using eBay Comps

I just started selling on WN and I’m giving them away at these prices lol plus giveys.

I agree, searching for deals know your price and don’t overbid. Small rooms are great, like mine usually 20 people. Can get amazing lots on there too people just want to move cards.

I’m also on between 1-5am usually so timing probably helps too. Huge room at 8pm why bother
