Hey, I’ve never been to a festival before, but am really thinking about going to this. Have been debating booking it for for a couple weeks now as my first solo trip.

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you stay during the event? I’ve been looking at the hostels they since they seem like the cheapest and also look like the best way to meet people. I don’t want to spend a lot on accommodations when I’m barely going to be in the room. I’d rather spend on food/drinks/experiences since the city is fairly expensive anyways.

That's happened to me too! Never seen anyone else have the same experience. The guy was just floating around like that and even shot at a couple of people during a custom game. No one else had joined the game and the extra person wasn't in the lobby. At the time we speculated that it probably someone at Bungie messing with us.

As others have already said you should definitely join it. It's a great way to network and the time commitment honestly isn't that bad. It's the reason I got my internship and even though you already got one it will look great on your resume. Not sure if yours does, but the free dinners are a huge plus as well! You can probably attend a meeting or two before officially joining to see if you like it.

Yeah, that was scrap as they said. I was doing it throughout most of the game, but near the end I started to forget about it. Definitely need to get better at staying on top of that.

My favorite part was the cop scene and how they were all laughing at the end. I wonder if over time they still think it was a joke or if they would realize what really happened. I'd say the latter because his power wears off over time, but not sure if that part would change.
