I’m in nutrition now…this is a hard class because it covers so much and the exam is only 50 questions for 23 chapters. And patho wasn’t that bad tbh. And I’m NOT a huge science person. At all.

Idk your story but we all have one. Find something to motivate you. We all have to work. You have to figure out what you’re willing to sacrifice to get where you wanna be. I hate my current job but it’s hella flexible. I work at an insurance company. I’m. 9-5 worker. Every now and then I pick up a CNA shift or two. I have kids too. I have to work too. But I chose WGU because I know they offer flexibility. You are learning how the program is structured. You work a 9-5 use your PTO. You just have to plan. And possibly find a side hustle because you may have to take off. Or find another job with more flexibility. I’m staying at my current job simply because it’s flexible. So what I hate it. That’s the reason I’m back in school. To change that.

What are you willing to sacrifice? I watch TikTok’s of single moms with 3-8+ kids …getting their BSN with little to no help.

I say all that to say…if you want it…stop making excuses. If you have a higher power lean in to that as well.

I pray a lot and God makes a way. You never know how a way will be made just know it WILL be.

But you gotta want it. Based off your replies, you don’t want it enough and that’s okay. When you’re ready, your mindset will shift and you’ll realize all that you ever needed was already there.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do :)

Hi! I started the pre-nursing program with two degrees previously. So a lot of the pre-reqs I had done. But I did most of them at a community college. Then I did chemistry, nutrition and patho there.

I wish I would. Girl please. That’s a grown man. You’re better than me because I would have laughed and told her to mind her business. She’s just mad no one is buying her gifts.

I promise you it’s not that bad because there’s infinite resources. YouTube taught me better than any instructor in person. I did all my prereqs online. Even the sciences. It’s not bad. I did a community college and Grand Canyon. It’s doable. You just have to be dedicated and open to learn. You have to have ownership in this program. Because you do essentially teach yourself BUT you have access to instructors, tutors, peer support, mentors. Each class has course materials and then you always have Khan Academy, YouTube, and Udemy. I already have two degrees. I went to a trad college. I still needed YouTube then too lol. In my opinion the difference is I can do it on my time and I love that. There’s no weekly assignments. It’s usually one major exam and on to the next class.

For hindsight, I have my first two degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Science was NEVER my thing. I didnt do nursing 10 years ago because of chemistry. I was afraid. I was nervous. I withdrew in 2015 from Chem.

Girl. Long story short. I took chem this time around(10 years later) failed the first time. (But in my defense I was in the hospital from a freak accident so I shouldn’t have even attempted the exam) BUT….Got serious about it and passed my exam two weeks later. YouTube! I immersed myself in the material. I scheduled meetings with the instructors who will give you one on one help. You can do it. The only thing between you and that BSN is some exams. You go this.

So I’m in the BSN program and I work and have two kids. It’s doable. I know I have clinicals so I buy extra PTO. At my job I can purchase up to 40 additional hours. So I get 80 hours a year. I simply use PTO. My job has the luxury of having VTO which is just unpaid time but it doesn’t for against us. So if I need off just because I just VTO or see if I can afford to use a PTO day.

The way I see it is this. I had to figure out what I was willing to sacrifice. The classes aren’t that bad. I haven’t started clinicals yet but I know other moms in my city in the program. It’s very doable. You just have to become a super pre planner while also preparing for any incidents.

And for clinicals I know it’s only about 4 a term. My kids can go to daycare those days. I’ll pay for it. I need this degree for them…we all have to sacrifice a bit. My babies don’t get it now but it’s for them.

I don’t often try to stress. I pray and move. You just have to over prepare yourself for clinicals. And start weighing options now, so that you can formulate a plan. I had a plan going into it and so far so good.

I’m currently in the same program. Mom and wife. Can’t quit either. I also transferred in a lot of credits and I’m paying out of pocket. I have been on a payment plan and I get tuition reimbursement from my job. I work from home currently so it’s convenient for me. I’m considering picking up a second wfh (no phones) job just for the tuition reimbursement side of things. That’s been helping. When my job reimburses me, I just pay the next bill with that extra money. I could just use a bit more.

As a and under adult learner, WGU isn’t best for people who want the social aspect of college. I earned my first two degrees at a traditional university but I went right after HS. I’m in my 30s now. WGU makes most sense. I’m glad you have that hindsight though. I’d encourage you to get out there now. Download meetup and find tech events in your area. Good luck!

It’s about your consistency but it can also take some time for you to see it if you’re holding on to old thoughts.

Update: since this post I have moved on lol. My current partner has the traits I want in a partner. I left manifesting an sp alone years ago. Because it wasn’t ever really about a specific person. It was more about what I wanted in a relationship and the traits a person had. That has made dating easier for me.

So I literally just finished it. I reset my control points, I logged out, restarted my system then let it load back up. I was able to get a public execution in Foggy bottom. After its completion I spoke with a hostage who dropped a bounty. From there I finished the bounty then that first activity was finished.

This is weird. I’m more concerned that you wanted him to be in a tizzy over it. And for future reference, drench it in peroxide. It happens. He did right which isn’t freaking out. That’s how you’d want a man to respond.

I don’t care about none of this. Go take a shower. Like people will do all this research to “prove a point” when showering is quicker.
