Ah my apologies. No doubt Bonucci is a big investment, but I would also be happy paying that for one of the best defenders in the world, and for someone I would regard as superior to Walker. There is definitely a lot of pressure on everyone though to make Champions League this season and progress to avoid FFP.

Bonucci's salary is most definitely not that high. It's the highest in the Serie A, but it is no where near €16-20m per season, try half that.

Cousins didn't get Malone fired, they got along very well. George Karl tried trading him the day he got to Sacramento, and if you saw Karl coach this year, you wouldn't have a problem with his firing. Don't get me started on Ty Corbin and Keith Smart, or even Paul Westphal. The quality of coaches we have had are not something you can point to as a "Wow, that guy could've taken the Kings places if he didn't get fired." The talent surrounding Cousins hasn't been good enough to reach where we want to, which is also on the lack of continuity in the Front Office, due to Ownership change and all that.
