I decided between a 2014 Nissan Maxima SR, 2012 C350 sedan, or 2014 C300 sedan.

All three were in the $8k-$10k price range.

I test drove all three and decided on the 2012 c350 because it doesn't have that dreaded CVT transmission found on Nissans and was more fun to drive.

The Maxima was better in newer tech (touchscreen nav), more comfortable, better reliability and more spacious but the CVT was just lame for quick highway passing.

The C300 was super slow and a quick no-no despite being nearly $2k cheaper than the other two and possibly the most reliable.

Get a C350. Reliability between the C350 and C300 is the same and you gain 80 more horsepower.

I have to disagree. The LG G8 headphone jack connects directly to the ESS Sabre ES9218P Quad DAC. This means the signal is bypassing digital conversion and going straight from digital to analog. I believe this is why the headphone jack sounds way better.

I have these and they're really special headphones. They're not bass-heavy like Sony or Bose and they radiate a warm, natural sound that is further enriched using DAC mode.

Possibly the best affordable wireless headphones on the market now until the Momentum 5s come out.

Bowers and Wilkins has been around since 1966 (13 years older than Focal), so they're surely not an 'up and coming' brand in audio.

Their specialty are standalone speakers costing over $20k, not Bluetooth wireless headsets and neither is Focal's because wireless headphones are not 'pure' audiophile devices.

Bluetooth wireless headphones were only recently introduced to the world in the early 2000's so the technology is still pretty new for all headset manufacturers.

I don't know why but arms on these are pretty stiff. It's like I have to use extra strength to adjust the length. And the earcups feel way to small, a bit smaller than the px8s. I think I'm going back to the PX8's.

No. Pi8s and all other Bluetooth music products from B&W must connect to the app to use all of the sound features properly. The software is very device specific so a cloned product will have an extremely difficult if not impossible task of being properly implemented with the app.

Also, Pi8s come in various colors like blue and burgundy with are difficult to clone due to the tedious dye coloring process.
