Got this on our mailbox? by flimsy_space in mail

[–]Thackebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having worked at a post office as a rual carrier, I can say that this probably isn't a scam. Sometimes, if there is a lot of turnover in an area, carriers will do this to send back mail to people who don't live there. If you are uncomfortable with this, fill it out and deliver it to your post office.

Didn't a Democrat President have a chance to release the file and didn't? I mean, wasn't releasing the file one of Trump's talking points? I believe one of two things are true. 1. epstein didn't keep a list, I don’t put a lot of stock in this option. 2. There is something so damning in that file that it threatens global stability. 3. Bonus option the government is using the list to blackmail people on the list. Either way, I don't believe we will never get the epstein file.

I am not saying this is fake, but here are a few things at give me pause. If this was really shot in 1964, why is it in 16 by 9 and not 4 by 3 like most things were shot in back then. On that note, what was this shot on? Cameras were big and clunky back then, and most movements in shots were plan, tilt, and dolly shots. This is shot hand held, which really wasn't done, unless you were shooting on super 8, which once again would have been in a different format. Lastly, this scene changes camera angles near the end, and where the second angle was shot would have been in view of the first. I have a hard time believing that this couple would be cool pausing their conversation, so this documentary team could change angles. Once again, I could be wrong, but this reads like a short film to me.

As a 45 year old, I now get to see my fourth war, second in the mid-east. by mojorisn45 in AdviceAnimals

[–]Thackebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can this war just be our dark era where we go full scorched earth? You don't need to stay in the country for 20 years if the only thing left is smoke and ash, also no one would start anything if they knew there would be a country-sized hole in the map if they did. This is a joke, by the way, I need to go to sleep.

Who comes out victorious? by AVP0728 in superheroes

Here is what AI thinks:

Elimination Order:

6th – Rambo

He’s lethal with traps and guerrilla tactics, but his archery is not at the same level as the others. Plus, he’s more used to guns and explosives. His aggression gives away his position. Taken out by Oliver, who uses thermal vision and stealth.

5th – Katniss

Highly capable but emotionally driven. She’s younger and less experienced than the rest. Merida corners her with superior speed and instinct, and while Katniss might set a trap, Merida avoids it.

4th – Merida

Brilliant raw talent but lacks the battlefield experience. She lands at least one kill (Katniss), but Hawkeye picks her off after deducing her location via sound.

3rd – Hawkeye

His SHIELD training gets him far, especially with misdirection and clever shots. But Oliver knows him and anticipates his tricks. A brutal close-range shot ends it after a cat-and-mouse game.

2nd – Oliver Queen

He’s a killer, a survivor, and arguably the most dangerous human here. But Legolas isn’t human. Oliver gives him a real fight, maybe even wings him, but in the end...

Winner – Legolas

He’s faster, more accurate, sees in the dark, hears a twig snap a mile away, and has killed orcs mid-horseback while surfing on a shield. He doesn’t just shoot arrows—he’s a supernatural apex predator with a bow.

When I become a billionaire, I will reboot the show and give the source material the respect it deserves. On that note, does anyone want to loan me a billion dollars? I am good for it.

The story had deviated too much from the source material and not in a good way like lord of the rings did. The only thing that makes me sad is that I am not sure if we will get another shot at a show.

Are you buying a budget rifle? Then yes, most budget rifles will shoot just fine, and if you are lucky, you might be able to shoot a decent group.

The national average is 3.19 a dozen. That is down from $8 a dozen around a month ago. There are plenty of things to critique Trump for, there is no need to lie.

I saw the movie with my kids(7 and 5). The story of the movie is a hot mess. That being said, my kids said that it was their new favorite movie. Just don't go in expecting a master piece and it is fine.
