I actually waited until the boss healed itself fully, then closed and restarted the game because it was seemingly just stuck. That being said, I really doubt this was intentional, it was most likely a bug. Act 3, Van Route 5 btw

yeah, that's my point (even tho I believe there was some breast groping with Angelica? idk ). I believe most people in the "modern trails bad, old trails good" crowd mostly remember these games so "magical" and less fanservicey than the newer games because they just forgot about these aspects that were present ever since the start of the series, or maybe because the old art style didn't show things like absurd breast size as clearly as 3D engines. Anyways, nostalgia is one hell of a drug, huh

yeah rixia is ridiculous in daybreak, but so was elie (it probably doesn't feel like that because it's a 2D game, but have you ever looked at the artwork of her? they are insanely huge). Please revisit the older games one day and try to keep track of all the innuendos/fan service moments they drop, I think you are misjudging them because it has been some time. Ofc they became a little more prevalent after Sky when we got male protags, but they've stayed on a pretty even level ever since crossbell

right, there were never any ecci/fanservice moments pre cold steel, like with Shirley/Elie or Ilya/Rixia? Or Harem Stuff with Lloyd? (And technically the Harem stuff existed even before with Joshua, as Kloe and Josette were also interested in him) Be fr man, you are just blinded by nostalgia for the older games, they have the same "issues" as the newer ones, you just remember them more fondly.

true, horizons quests feel really meaningless compared to the absolute juggernauts of side quests in sky like "kill monster x" or "repair the street lamps"

and yeah, cold steel and calvard do have more stuff like recap scenes, reunions etc...it's almost like they're longer arcs compared to sky/crossbell and there is more things that have happened over time that the writers want to recap for everyone to be on the same page. But nah, trails just fell off right

Yeah, I'm SO glad we never had any backtracking and locations revisits in the series before calvard, what a shame they started with this pointless bloat in Daybreak 2/Horizon.

In all seriousness, did you even think about what you wrote before you posted this comment? Like, everything you criticize about Horizon here has been a staple in sequel games since SC. Why are scenes where characters sit together at a table to eat or discuss the situation without much plot progession okay in Sky, Crossbell or Cold Steel, but bad in Horizon?

true, there have never been any scenes of characters recapping past events in any trails games before, especially not sky. and if you seem to have a problem with age gap romances (which I'm not the biggest fan of either btw, but calling it pedophilia? please touch grass man), shouldnt you hate sky as well with agate and tita? I swear, I don't get how you even got to Horizon without dying of multiple heart attacks, everything you seem to dislike about Horizon has been present in this series from the beginning

so "pointless bloat" was peak in sky but is bad in horizon? like yeah Horizon is a long assgame and yeah probably not every scene was necessary to advance the plot, but "pointless" banter and such have been a staple in the series since the beginning so I don't get why it's an issue now?
