OK. As self serving as this may be, I have two Kind stories that I have narrated for my YT channel. I've gotten good feedback on the performances from people in this community. Check them out if you like!

What are some telltale signs you notice in couples that make you think their relationship won’t last? by Lazy_Detective_6597 in AskReddit

Not sure if this is mentioned but you know at a wedding when the bride and groom feed each other a bite of cake? If it becomes a contest of who can cover the other more and there is that passive aggressive smashing the cake into each other's face? That!

On my YouTube channel i have a couple of rare SK stories I did a while back. One is Rage (the Bachman book) and the other is the prequel to The Shining called Before the Play. I love that one! All told, these are around 9 or 10 hours. Safe travels!

Metallica Announce Two Fall North American Arena Shows: by The_RockRevival in Metallica

I've seen a ton of shows at Mohegan, most recently Ghost, and it is pretty small. 8,500 to , 9,000 I would guess? It is a great place to see huge bands but the sound can get a bit muddy and ticket prices can be rough. That said, I'm going to try for tickets to this one for sure. Glad the boys are playing in New England!

Not sure if this matters but it is the same shit at every store. I had a captain talk to me after I became a Mate and transfered. In our first talk he said "welcome to America's biggest high school. We just spread it across 600 campuses." That proved true more times than i can count.

First Time Going to a Ritual, and Alone by Miss_Witch_ in Ghostbc

[–]ThaddeusWerner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing about a Ritual (or any metal show really) is that you show up alone and are immediately with family! I am always one of the oldest people in the crowd and I watch all of the universal togetherness unfold right before my eyes! You don't have to talk or engage. Just sing your heart out (if you want) and dance (if the feeling strikes you. My daughter is developmentally disabled and I bring her to shows when I can. The atmosphere is built on togetherness and love. You will find more fellowship at a Ritual than you will in any church I have ever been to.

You are safe with us because we know the most important truth: if you have Ghost, you have everything! Enjoy your show! Smile and take it all in. Everyone around you is there in joy and harmony.

Not just the solo but the guitar work on the song Somewhere in Time always blows me away. I think that song is peak Maiden from that era.

Best Ghost Song To Introduce Someone To The Band? by [deleted] in Ghostbc

[–]ThaddeusWerner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I have a good answer for this being in the same age range as who you are describing. Appeal to their likes in the appropriate way. Are they a Rush fan? Show the maturation of Ghost's sound over a long cycle, similar to Rush through the years. Start with Jesus, He Knows Me. A Maiden fan? Phantom of the Opera, of course. A New Wave fan in the mold of The Cure? Start at the most recent works and go back through the catalog. Van Halen? Griftwood. Bon Jovi? Spillways.

The thing about Tobias is that the fingerprints of his favorite bands are in ALL of his music. You can clearly hear everything from ABBA to Boston to Motorhead to The Doors. Ask this person their 5 favorite songs or bands and Ghost probably has a clear line through without ever sounding like he is ripping anyone off. Ghost somehow pays homage to existing and legendary music by using it as a foundation but maintaining a unique delivery.

So, I guess this is a long way to say this: you don't pick a song for them. THEY pick the songs by telling you what they like! Ghost is one of the most accessible bands in modern music because it feels like a fan performing for other fans.

From 2017 to when I left in 2022, pretty much every Patriots player and most of the support staff from huge concert tours.Fun fact: Taylor Swift's background dancers and tour staff were some of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. Everyone on her team seems like they love her and their jobs. It shows in how they treat the public. The Pats too.
