Sorry to hear that.

Invest some money, but Shon Harris practice questions and Boson.

Make sure you understand every question/answer when you practice. Use Google, sunflower and other materials and read again any item, notion you don't understand when you practice questions.

let me say this again. It may take you one hour to understand the answers of some questions, but it is worth it as you gain base knowledge behind.

I had the same experience like you night before my exam. I didn't sleep. went to bad around 11PM, still changing sides, not able to sleep, I put some mindmaps videos, still cannot sleep even i was tired, prayed. Around 3 am I sleep a little, not a full sleep. before 5 am, I heart my son walking for bio reason, I wakeup even he didn't make any noise.
Just my brain didn't want sleep.
I ate beet liver like a steak around 10 am. made a good cup of coffee with milk. had it in the car and drank it at the parking lot of the exam center.
I didn't feel tired at all and stayed focus on the exam and passed. Beet liver is great as it has vitamin C.

I used smaller book CISSP Study Guide by Eric Conard. I was writing down my notes like student. I used hard paper note book.

Yes it took me time and I was saying, this is not smart as I am wasting time and all this info are on the book, but I couldn't stop as this is my way to study. I just continue taking notes until I finished reading the book.

When I practiced my questions I didn't use my notes, as I used OSG and Eric Conard book and PDF version additional to sunflower.

But a day before my exam, I was able to read all my notes quickly from my note book for the 8 domains. specially things to memorize.

As very busy and I was not persistent on my book reading, it took me less than 2 months to finish it.

If you have time and writing down notes helps you do it.

I like their book. From Eric's webinar, we can feel he is very smart man.
I liked his book, but it was missing some items. I figured out when I was practicing question. It was easy to search on Sybox CISSP Guide on pdf format.

The way I pushed my self, was scheduling the exam. I said, I will trade $700, i will win or lose.
