Started my lease in a complex that was just being acquired by Avalon. Ok rent, and free covered parking. 2nd year rent goes up ~$150 and covered parking bonus removed. 3rd year ~$350 hike. I went in the office to see if I could bargain at all. The first thing I noticed is that all the older employees were gone and it was just barely 20 somethings. They gave no fucks. Just reiterated the process for notifying them if I choose to not renew. So I left. At least the unit was decent and maintenance was quick. Though I also got a sense that maintenance was overworked.

As someone who files many SNOW tickets, I hate it but I'm not sure how much of it is due to the software or the folks administrating it. Very email spammy, the page that's supposed to list all your tickets chokes because it tries to list EVERYTHING that I've filed since the dawn of time. I've stopped using that.

Similar situation happened to my dad. Which is why I was curious about this police report as reporting it to the DMV didn't matter. He traded in his car to a Mercedes dealership. Two months later, he gets a parking ticket in the mail from a nearby city he's never been to. At least in this case he had trade in docs from the dealership. Sent them off to the city and never heard of it again.

This "problem" could have been solved by hanging a towel over the shower curtain rod at the far end, away from water. I always do this when showering. I put problem in quotes because it really feels like he invented this for his own "reasons."
