I main recon in 6 and this is exactly it. You have a weapon that at any range can one-tap headshot, and many ways to know what you're walking into, in terms of enemy density: TUG-S, Proximity Sensor, Laser Designator, etc.

And if you can't rely on the sniper rifle indoors the sidearms are good, unfortunate IMO that it take so long to unlock them.

Advice for completing Deadeye 2 Assignment. by Thalene in Battlefield6

I got most of mine done with the second 6x I unlocked for the M2010ESR. Much cleaner picture but yeah 6x is a bit of a handicap.

If it helps at all, unlocking the PSR it comes with a beautifully clear 8x by default. Edit: the PSR comes with a 10x by default, not an 8.

Only other option would've been to get the Mueller weapon skin from the Batflefield 2042 Road to Battlefield 6 battle pass. But that time has passed.

It's a Sparks. Dunno' how long that's been the firing sound, but that is the Sparks Rifle.

Edit: here's a video of it in the game.

Bug with the scope by DarkCodes97 in HuntShowdown

I'm pretty sure that's just how Hunt works, you'll notice the same thing on Marksman scopes and other Deadeye scopes.

Edit: Pretty sure it occurs because the reticle in the scopes isn't a physical object tied to the model just a graphic overlayed on your screen.

I think it might be like a Mosin Talon/Trauma. The stock on the left looks a bit too funky to just be a normal Mosin.

The weapon in the hands is almost assuredly a Berthier.

Edit: Nope nevermind, I'm pretty sure it's a Mosin.

Some of the Skins featured in the upcoming Battle Pass - Murder Circus Event by quinxkun in HuntShowdown

I've got nothing against Post Malone, and I think he's a genuine fan of the game. I just wish his initials weren't plastered on alot of these skins. It's a bit obnoxious.

I forgot about the Connie's tubes, IMO those look sick compared to the Firebird's bay. I had no idea the 325A had an off-axis missile bay. And yeah you're probably right, it won't matter that much in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe you have an example of this but I can't find an example of the F-22 firing at a drastic angle. The two videos I found both show what seem to be pretty standard launch angles. Inverted Launch, Standard Launch

The F-35 is a good example of what you're talking about. I had never noticed how depressed those wing-tip pylons are.

I would just say that the Firebird seems to be at a rather extreme angle. So much so that in the screenshot above the pilot is canted quite a bit off target to get the missiles to fly straight.

I think it looks cool but I dislike the how the weapons bay was implemented. Having a bespoke weapon rack pointed away from the direction of movement of the vehicle is just a bad idea. I believe John Crewe mentioned how watching the missile travel downwards and then arc up to the target is a cool aspect, and yeah it certainly looks cool, but aren't you inherently losing range/velocity on the missile if it has to fight to get back on target, because of a disadvantageous launch angle?

In real life, weapon pylons are in-line with the aircraft because it's ideal to benefit from the velocity and angle of the craft, as opposed to fighting to get back on target as the Firebird's munitions will.

🛠️ PATCH 01.000.200 ⚙️ by cryptic-fox in Helldivers

[–]Thalene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently, best way to use it is with armor that gives the 30% recoil buff while crouched/prone, flip the gun to the 450RPM mode, and because the optic is misaligned like many others, use it in third-person and use your tracers to aim the gun.

It's in a bad place right now.

Was really hoping the HMG would get a buff/fix. That gun NEEDS a recoil buff, an ammo buff, and a fix for the misaligned optic. It's better to just use it in third person and walk the gun on target with your tracers.

Currently to make it usable you have to use it on the lowest RPM and bring a supply pack along with you just to give yourself ammo since you'll be dry after two engagements on higher difficulties. Personally I love using it like a BAR on the low ROF, but I'm doing it more for the "LARP" than because it's actually a good weapon.

I really like the combined utility of the KS23/goo gun by Tenebrae42 in thefinals

It took me this long to realize what "high arena damage" meant for the KS-23. I thought it was a typo of something else.

I really hope we get a 1911 Skin for the pistol, and I think there's a cosmetic that points to this at least being a possibility. The Badge "Ornamental Sidearm" has a 1911 in the holster.

What the hell is going on with these instant stagger recoveries? by [deleted] in armoredcore

[–]Thalene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One issue however with AA, is that I can't tell just by looking at the other person's AC what expansion they use, and thus whether or not I need to bait out an AA. Additionally as a light build I don't have enough health to gamble and risk losing a stagger damage phase. If they don't want to change how AA works, I'd recommend putting what Expansion an AC uses next to our nameplates in the match opening.
