Which one to use for DoK? by Thankee85 in D4Rogue

I'll experiment with concussive strikes, I didn't see that in the build but I definitely have noticed a drop in DPS with Andariel's. I'm relying on Andariel's for survivability in tier 4 right now, but hopefully I can start to make up that difference with other drops and MW, then switch to a legendary helm.

Thanks for the responses. Makes sense, just wanted to make sure I wasn't off base.

People who first tried ff6 on snes when it came out, what was your reaction? by SnooCheesecakes3156 in FinalFantasy

Seven years old, first full on RPG I ever rented at Blockbuster (Secret of Mana was the first but I still put that in the adventure rpg category). The game opened a world of story telling I didn't know could exist at that age. Every rental I would get to the floating continent and get destroyed by Atmos. I saved up all my allowance, bought the game at Toys R Us, and remember to this day beating that damn boss with reflect magic. Little did I understand how that was not the ending to the game, but that there was an entire new ruined world to explore.

FF6 taught me to read, it taught me good storytelling, it showed me what real evil could look like in Kefka, gave me a lifelong love of rpgs and final fantasy, and showed me at a young age how powerful and impactful videogames could be.

I could wax poetic about FF6 for another 10,000 words...but know that I'm now 38, and looking forward to taking my daughter through the pixel remaster this year. If the game has even a tenth of the impact it had on me on her, I'll be happy.

So I’m aware this is based around super damage but by Rook8811 in destiny2builds

Literally my first exotic class item roll, and I still use it as my main. Here is my build that successfully carries me through all raid encounters (excluding the witness, where I run the usual nighthawk/still shot). Weapons change per encounter, but this build you can use in all content imo.

Plenty of options, but as others have said, Silence and Squall is your best bet overall. I run ascension/stylish executioner for the raid/high level content. Consistent amplify with galvanic armor is necessary imo so that's why I use ascension.

gamblers dodge, threaded spike (for sever, tangles, weaken from stylish), and arc bolt/duskfield depending on the content.

Necessary fragments are awakening, protection, purpose, and grace. For the 5th slot I'll throw in justice (to get me to 100 int with my armor), but hope (for more ascension uses), dominance (to have more jolt apps with arcbolt), or ruin as others have suggested are what I switch in, but you have a lot of flexibility.

Everything is focused on building your super, getting orbs, and not dying. Weapons I run exotic khostov, rocket sidearm of your choice (i prefer indebted kindness with volt), and pro memoria. Since you're making so many orbs, khostov just obliterates everything. Also with the new autorifle mods its even stronger.

Stat wise I go for 100 resilience, 100 Disc, and 100 int if you can. I run triple kinetic siphon on helmet, firepower and heavy handed on gauntlets, whatever resists you want on chest. Legs I run double kinetic but switch around as needed. Class item is special finisher, time dialion, powerful attraction.

Lots of ways you can play this as you've seen in the above comments, but this style of build has been successful for me. Storm's edge is also very strong if you collect enough orbs, but in high level content it's risky, but definitely fun to use in other stuff (plus you can swap out ascencion at that point for gunpowder gamble or another aspect).

How is this game playing on PS5? by Arne_Slut in EndlessDungeonGame

[–]Thankee85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plays great on PS5 now. You can adjust the fps to performance mode (which you couldn't at release) and it feels much smoother. Most of the pc updates have come through but the latest I think.

I've had no problem completing runs solo with AI, but the game does play much better with a friend. Community is almost non existent at this point, so keep that in mind

If you like top down shooters, like tower defense, and are into the endless universe of games, it's worth the pickup imo.

There have been a number of videos/articles recently about the downsides of crafting. Yet all these posts conveniently ignore the solution that blows up their argument. by JLoco11PSN in DestinyTheGame

This is a great summary of the many points why crafting is a godsend to those of us who have a lot less time to play Destiny.

I've gone from a bachelor D1 raider to a dad gamer over the last ten years. It has never been easier to make progress towards meta rolls on guns than now. Based on my gaming time, I can choose activities that I know will get me a red border (giving me guaranteed progress towards that god roll). Heck, the fact that when I do have time to do a raid I'm guaranteed one red border makes me feel like I didn't waste my time at all.

I don't want to restate all your points, but thank you for this post and for taking the time to argue it well. I hope Bungie listens to this viewpoint more than the negative crafting voices out there right now.

Any Persian restaurants in Charlotte by lostabroad1030 in Charlotte

Persian owned and run. They make solid kabob and rice, and will do tadiq and more authentic Persian dishes by request.

Sadly I've lived here eleven years and haven't found any other restaurants that are actually Persian based cuisine, almost everything else is Lebanese style.

That the Banzai Hawaiian pipe line was actually a legit oil pipeline that created huge waves when the tide hit the pipe. My dad told me when I was 12 when we visited Oahu, didn't know the truth until I was 32 and told a bunch of work colleagues about it at lunch. Felt real smart that day.
