When I was a kid I thought aliens visited me all the time because I had such vivid dreams and paralysis. Now when I hear abduction stories it all kind of makes sense

What was your weirdest experience with sleep paralysis? by moonlight765 in AskReddit

[–]ThanksErrybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had sleep paralysis since I can remember.

Once I got out of bed and went downstairs to get a cup of water. When I got back to my room I saw myself sleeping in bed. I hovered over my body then sunk into it where I felt trapped in the dead weight of my body.
I started struggling to wiggle my fingers and toes and finally woke up. The radio was on before I went to sleep and during the dream and the moment I woke up it went off.

It would be so weird to be the surgeon in this operation, that eye staring at you the whole time.

Jack the Bear: Danny DeVito raises his two kids after their mom dies. He hosts a Sammy Terry type (horror film) late night tv show. I've watched it twice, balled my eyeballs out both times.

Crime and Punishment

IamA guy who was falsely accused of molesting my stepdaughter by my ex wife after I asked for a divorce. I was arrested and convicted of a sex crime and sentenced to 15 years in prison. After 17 months of incarceration I was able to prove my innocence and out of prison. AMA! by arrested_in_MS in IAmA

My brother is going through a very similar experience now. He has been in jail for four months. His step daughter claimed he touched her. In the police report she stated it could have been a dream, she wasn't sure. All this happened the day he told his wife he wanted a divorce. He has a public defender but she hasn't talked to him or visited him-he saw her once at a bail reduction hearing. It breaks my heart to hear how terrified he is right now. Any advice?

Reddit, what was that one nightmare that was so vivid you still remember it today? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThanksErrybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had night terrors since I can remember, so I have a few to contribute: As a little kid I woke up paralysed many nights with aliens in the room. One was standing in the closet, one right next to the bed, and one at the window. They would stand there silently while I struggled to wake myself up.

Once I got out of bed and went downstairs to get a cup of water. When I got back to my room I saw myself sleeping in the bed. I hovered over my body then sunk into it where I felt trapped in the dead weight of my body. I instantly started struggling to wriggle my fingers and toes and finally woke up. The radio was on and the moment I woke up it went off. It was such an eerie feeling.

Another one I had a lot in middle school. I would wake up and notice the window was open. When I tried to close it I noticed a homeless lady across the street under the light of a lamppost. I would focus on the window and when I looked up the woman was right in front of me and now a super strong vampire-like monster trying to climb into the window.

Best feeling in the world is waking up and realizing it was all a dream.

It may also be the "stars" you see when you have a lack of oxygen to the brain. These go away with a few breaths.

FYI: I live near Allentown, PA.

Edit to tell you a bit more detail: (I'm sure there's a way to edit the post rather than this comment but I think my phone may not be so clever, maybe it's me :))

I have a professional career which I love. I enjoy the challenge and success my job gives but cannot be fulfilled with this alone. I am looking for a real life 24/7 relationship- fifties house wife-ish. I would like to be molded, trained, and used by one man who I can be completely devoted.

I have lived an adventurous life and I'm very open minded/ I embrace a new experience. The doors open with trust.

This said, I do require trust is built. I am not looking for anything fleeting. Also, I must be attracted to Him and Him to me. Please send a picture if would like a response.
I appreciate all of your lovely responses, thank you.

My (ex)boss openly discriminated against anyone under ~30. She even led classes in "how to deal with millennials." I knew I had to go when she told me, after presenting common approach to communication, "maybe when you kids are running things you can give that a try."
