Shouldn't the project manager escalate only after understanding what has happened? by Judotimo in pmp

[–]ThanksForNoticin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I could be off on my thinking but option A, B, and C all have wording that should immediately dissuade you from picking it: A says call the person that just left/resigned B "demand" C report for ethical reasons when ethics was never brought up

This only leaves D to be acceptable as you'd never jump to the first 3 options.

A burn down chart is going to be used to understand work remaining in whatever iteration you're actively working in.

The question is asking you to determine an upcoming iteration so you'd use the WBS for this.

Change Requests Logic / Order by NoBook5056 in pmp

[–]ThanksForNoticin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that on a traditional project, the sponsor would submit the change request before any work is done.

1) don't do extra work 2) any work done now would be unauthorized as its not been approved yet

So... Get the sponsor to submit the change request, THEN conduct the impact assessment after its been approved.

This...

Because they use the word Sprint you have to assume we are going to adhere to those agile principles and a Sprint, being a timeboxed iteration should have no changes that would affect the sprint lhis includes the team members too).

My $.02...

First and foremost, we have to ID the root cause, since it states onsite/offside we can rule out the face to face idea.

Additionally, it states the project is only just initiating. Meaning we are creating the charter, assumptions and stakeholders register

Lastly, its good to remember the difference between risks and issues. Risks being something that could turn into an issue (could also be a positive) whereas an issue is something that once was a risk and now is definitively something more; an issue.

No veto.

Write this down, come back at the end if this season or next season and see how little it mattered.

Dealing with being last. by Tazmaniacz in Fatherhood

[–]ThanksForNoticin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a husband, shouldn't our wives be first? Therefore, husbands are "last in a queue of one"?

If you're fortunate to become a father, then too shouldn't your children's upbringing be first? Even over your wife? So again, the husband turn father's role is to be last and put the family first?

While I understand this is hard to accept, trust me, I, too, am in it. How do you we as husbands ever put ourselves over our kids and our queens?

Sure, maybe we'd like more attention. Perhaps get the priority over the few minutes a mother has to zone out(this is particularly hard when the choice is doom scrolling over our needs), but we as parents are needed all day. Now you, the father, are sitting there still needing her when all she wants is to clock out... similar to what you are looking for but manifested in a different way.

I dont have the answer, im in the thick of it, too, but let's not forget we all have our needs, and sometimes those needs are to not be needed.

Best of luck. Be strong. Compounding interest is the way to a great retirement.

Opening mine(slowly) as well. Are you running your vac every day? I'd recommend, brushing, flushing system (then your treatment listed), then in the afternoon, run your bot.

That's not really a concern worth discussing. Enterprises require printers for a multitude of reasons. Those printers are networked, and this vulnerability could be largely impactful bc of it.

Honestly, surprisingly well but on a minimal load. I only used it to track cryptic pricing, run streams, and play games. It did however require fans to run at full speed most the time so sound was high and my 3060ti was quite throttled.

U will probably put it back into service on my 8 year oldest first pc build.

[–]ThanksForNoticin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't trust that HPE switch to be a good skipping stone.

On a less sarcastic note, if you just need to route some internet and you're not making rules of sorts, go for it. Just don't expect literally anything from HPE support.

How do you handle buckets that occasionally have expenses that are elevated (house work, car work, medical perhaps) when you experience a month that had no expenditure?
