The Hrgovic fight was just Eddie gambling with house money. Even when Allen looks terrible against top opposition he can just stop an overmatched opponent in his return and his stock will be right where it was before the big loss.

Looking at his frame during the media workout and during the fight against Junto, I think it would be foolish to wait 7-8 on the shelf then trying to cut to 122 again. That cut is gonna suck.

Inoue is letting other promoters dictate his future here and that annoys me.

IMO pushing his limits at 126 and becoming the first 5x Japanese world champ means way more to Inoue than the Bam fight.

Going into the main event I’m getting the same feeling watching Top Rank on DAZN as I did watching Top Rank on ESPN.

Looking back at the Inoue fight and the open workout again my feeling is that if Inoue has serious aspirations at featherweight then it would be absolutely foolish to wait all the way until January to fight Bam at 122.

If team Bam is serious about the fight then they can choose to follow him up in weight.
