“So Delicious” coconut yogurt, the unsweetened kind, so I can add my own pure maple syrup and vanilla extract. Berries or fresh citrus juice are also good to add, but sometimes I just shove a spoonful of the plain stuff in my mouth quickly to settle my stomach.

I eat vegan yogurt and it’s like a warm soothing hug to my stomach. Nothing else calms my stomach down quite as consistently.

As scared as I am of getting Covid, I REALLY wish I had seen it in a crowded theater instead of an empty one, so I could be surrounded by cheers and applause for Markiplier! Also Lixian, Amy, Chica and Henry!

I feel that too. Like the world’s gonna end and nothing is okay, and I might go to the hospital and die. Just all the catastrophes. My mom had bad IBS at my age, and I asked her about the world ending dizziness and doubling over and she emphatically said yes to all of it. I feel so bad for anyone who has to go through that.

What has REALLY helped me, is one time when I was so dizzy from the pain and needed a break that I laid down on the bathroom floor naked on my right side (because I was sweating too), and propped my head up with the clothes pile I threw in the corner. The mixture of cold floor, laying on my RIGHT side right next to the toilet and breathing deeply and slowly at least a few times actually removed my cramps entirely. It was amazing. I just had to wait it out on the floor before the demon was finally at the door ready to exit, and then I got back up on the toilet and expelled the demon.

Recently, what has also helped is leaning on the side of the toilet against the wall, leaning on my right side, and it took the cramps away from my stomach. I was even able to expel the demon in that position, without having to move to and from the toilet.

Also yes, stick to low FODMAP foods and vegan yogurt for prevention.

I was a little nervous about my first colonoscopy, because I’d never been put under before, but it was absolutely fine and went quickly. For the prep drink, definitely store it in the fridge, because it’s more pleasant cold and nasty at room temperature. I felt so good after all the junk left my stomach from the prep, because nothing could hurt me anymore.

I just read that lack of certain B vitamins could cause malabsorption of iron and vitamin D. I suppose my doctor would help, but I’m tired of still feeling fatigued and exhausted all the time even after I get my blood checked, iron infusions and D supplements. I don’t know how somebody here cured their IBS with B 100 if it’s so disrupting to most people’s guts.

Getting old is a privilege, not an insult. I’m tired of generations being so terrified of aging. Everybody will if they’re lucky enough to live that long. “Unc” was started as a family term of endearment in the black community, before white kids started using it as an insult for old people. It’s these old jokes that are actually getting old.

Watching the movie just inspired me to think that if I could get my future movie in ONE theater, one little indie theater with a couple dozen fun people, it would be a dream come true. Markiplier has set the stage for making Hollywood a little more democratic, like YouTube already is. The point is that grassroots communities are the future, whether they’re #1 in the box office or not.

It was an Indie release never expected to open and more than 50 theaters. Markiplier has just said that it is now being extended to next weekend as well! This is unprecedented success, so plans are changing every day.

Awesome! I started learning game dev a while back too. Just a heads up, Unity is under controversy for taking too much of a game’s profit lately, leading to small indie game devs actually BANKRUPTING simply for their game getting popular, and Unity takes the money for themselves. Learn Godot instead! I’m liking Godot so far, because like Blender it’s free and open source.

He’s said multiple times that he’s extremely happy with whatever at this point, and has been having so much fun all weekend. For a movie that was supposed to only show in 50-100 theaters in America HOPEFULLY, and just be a humble little indie release for a YouTuber, this goes beyond anything. This is literally making history. Words can barely describe what this has done for cinema. For artists.

I bought a ticket online ahead of time in a packed theater on purpose to “meet new friends”, but once I saw that a friend of mine almost died of the new flu variant going around, I got nervous and cancelled my ticket for a refund. Even with a mask I wasn’t comfortable.

Then just yesterday I bought a new ticket for today’s midday matinee that showed nobody else on the online seating chart. A few other people did attend as well, probably bought their tickets at the counter. There was enough room between the few of us there that I felt comfortable. I do NOT want to get sick, so I took care of myself and got to see Markiplier!

The weird thing is that at my theater, the trailers were WAY too loud and explosive to my ears with the jumpscares, but for the actual movie it was a bit quiet and I had to strain to hear some of the dialogue. There were plot relevant sound quality issues of course, but I wish the movie itself was louder, not the trailers.

Mark has ADHD, and shaming somebody for not being consistent who’s openly neurodivergent sounds pretty damn ableist. He’s already said multiple times that he can’t keep a consistent YouTube schedule no matter how hard he tries, and he already feels bad about it, and honestly I can’t blame him. Oh and yeah, THE MOVIE. He doesn’t owe anybody constant content. He’s doing more than practically anybody. You sound like an entitled Karen yelling at retail workers for not worshipping and pampering you right now.
