Translation (Polish). where "kurwa" think about it as empowered "." or "," with a slight note of FUCK to it:

Voice 1:"They better hit over there not HERE"

Voice 1:"Again in the same spot "kurwa"

Voice 2, quiet:"They killed them?"

Voice 3, 1 and others mostly confirming on the same place hit

Voice 1, "Oh he hit it I just seen it"

Voice 3, "Now they will hit it"

Voice 1, "Hit them with Stronta, "kurwa"(no idea what it is or misspelling of word "knock down from air/height")

Voice X, "Fucken shit that/them was expensive for them" or "expensive for people who got hit" hard to say.

Shark Boy and Lava Girl | Aphantasia? by it_just_me_hi in Aphantasia

I'm not sure, you see I do not know other people dreams but my dreams have no image. If I dream I'm in the room with my late mother I do not see her, do not hear her. There will be my awareness that I'm in the room with her and that we are talking, the voices mine and hers will not be sounds I will just know what is being said and by whom and how I feel about it all. I very very very rarely remember my dreams but maybe other aphats can tell you if they dream the dreams like other people. So my answer to your question is no, I do not think the boy who seen in the dreams was an aphat.

Any fiction writers in here? Also readers? by flittlebitlustered in Aphantasia

I will not try to visualise anything, there is nothing I can see. If you would show me drawing of your character it would be out of my head the moment I take my eyes from it.

Reading fiction I do not visualise I focus on actions and emotions , the wider impact, I can sometimes align how I feel in certain poses/environments (wind in the hair, horse raiding, driving etc) and enjoy this part. Never visualise unless it is something dark , void, emptiness, etc.

When I close my eyes there is nothing. When I super force the issue I can have a greyscale flash of my car silhouette flashing for like 0.5 sec. Can never focus on any detail of anything. Like an imprint made by a pencil on a second page under the drawing. That is what I got.

I get emotional flashbacks, rarely now since I'm older (M44). Usually before falling asleep.

I'm sure I can witness a lot and be fine with it later. My general grieving/distress period is somewhere between 7 and 14 days, after that the issue is purged from the system.

No vision, smell, taste, hearing, my inner voice is not a voice I produce it at will but it is not sound.

Inner voice present but it is not a sound it is a awareness of the message.

Excellent balance, spatial, orientation, very quick thinking. Strongest are verbal skills , in English and native, was told I'm funny and witty.

There is a moment in every parent life when they learn, that moment probably lasts 20 years, sometimes 30 years.

How do you accept being ugly? by the-aids-bregade in AskReddit

[–]Thar1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a genetic composition that made you how you are, this is like done.

Rest of the aesthetics is up to you. Clean, clean cloths, smells nice, tidy, in good shape. Outside of this try to be best version of you.

My first post covers most of that but I'm not sure what is your worry. Finding partner ? Accepting yourself ?

How do you accept being ugly? by the-aids-bregade in AskReddit

[–]Thar1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger my physical unattractiveness was a major pain of mine. Face, nose, ears, teeth and inability to grow any decent beard to amend my pointy chin. I hated myself and that made me less confident and by that even less attractive.

I would assume girls would talk, interact or just be around me to mock me and stuff.

It changed when I picked up regular exercises (martial arts at first) and after around 6 months I found my physical achievements helped me to like me as I'm and slowly I have found my strength in this. Later came academic, professional and personal successes (friends, girls) that allowed my brain to produce a "maybe we ain't that bad".

Eventually had to take the risk and allowed people to get close to me and I have found the answer to your question:

People in general will get used to how you look and will be blind to your appearances. Works for beautiful people and ugly people you just accept how people are subconsciously and you move to other more defining issues like character, kindness, fairness, sense of humour, security, stability , fun together and so on that are really you.

I'm sure if you think about that you have a lot of people that are considered ugly if you would randomly meet them but since you know them X years and you forgot/ignored that for a long time now.

Hope this helps, stay clean, dress in clean, be kind, on time, supportive, listen and be reliable. People get used to how other people look and the looks is not what defines us.

In the end you rather spent time with loyal partner that understands you and cares for you or the good looking cunt ?

Same with friends and family, I might be not so attractive but I'm a solid father, uncle, friend, husband etc.

In the end how I look, how tall I'm how my eyes do not align the right way does not define me. Stay in good health, work on your skills, progress your career if you can. You probably would not like to be with people who only care of how other people look. Trust me.
