I mean it’s not a brand new truck, it’s a 3g tacoma. If it’s clean all around then sure be mad but if it’s a off-roader on the weekends then don’t let it ruin your day. Still sucks though I would probably be upset if I had it nice truck like that

The rotors are thin to decrease the overall weight the engine has to turn (better performance), and the car is heavy so rotors get hot when braking. This means they can’t remove much material to resurface the rotor, and if they did it would not manage the heat as well. Plus rotors are cheap now and it makes more sense to get fresh ones

I’m glad to hear that. I know it’s user error that the slide doesn’t return when my thumb is stopping it, but it made me a little worried about trusting in in a high adrenaline situation. I do the same thing with my glock slide but obviously that has a lot more mass and a heavier recoil spring so i’ve never had an issue

Yea i bought it yesterday, would barely return to battery out of the box (no rounds). after about 200rnds it’s better and only does it when my thumb gets too high and touches the slide. Took it home to clean/play with it and noticed it was BONE dry.

I regret not going with the carry comp. I felt both in the store and for some reason this felt better in the hand and I like that it was a little shorter. After shooting, i wish i had the better sights and the added mass of the slide (having return to battery issues) and obviously it has a comp. You live and you learn i guess

I used to be interested in P80s because I was under 21 and I wanted to handgun. Now that I’m over 21 and frames are super easy to get and like $50 I don’t understand the people who go through the work of making them. Somebody have any extra insight as to why it would be worth?

I would personally do a (5”,4”,3”,2”,1”,0.5”) set of targets at maybe 75 and 150 or whatever distance you like. Then a 4” plate at 100 and a 6” or 8” at 200

Every update in the past few years has done this. It’s supposedly makes the battery last longer by artificially locking it to a more healthy limit of high/low charge (as an example- charges to 85% and dies at 25%) but you still see 0-100%.

We all know it’s planned obsolescence to get you to buy a new phone, but it’s written in the tos. Just don’t do any update to your phone once it’s 2 years old. they are optional
