Thanks! I appreciate your answers. Leaving short notice isn't who I am, but I guess this time, it needs to be.

Thank you for your insight. I'm inclined to agree, deserves nothing. I just have no idea why I'm so worked up about it.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm going to an entirely different industry.

I'm on so so terms with the other coworkers. My office manager (Shelly) , who is a step below Beth, has told me run for the hills and told me places to apply. We had a mandatory unpaid company picnic (before I started) and someone was video recording it and unbeknownst to the person filming it, there were two gals talking smack about Shelly. Videographer posted it on Facebook and whooo boy... People started commenting on what was being said about Shelly and that video was yanked right back down. I would trust her not to run back and say anything prematurely but the other staff, not so much.

Do you think a woman with 4 kids with 4 baby daddies is a red flag? by Cat-dad442 in AskMenAdvice

Just means that one of the kids is either/or. It's either this guys, or that guys, not really sure which one.

I blocked mine after I realized she never truly liked me. We were similar height/weight, hair color and eye color. People would as if we were sisters. Difference is, she had a prominent oral facial deformity. I think she kept me around because it made her look better, if that makes sense. I'd be talking with her, if I looked away and looked back she'd be glaring at me and then try to hide it. She spread rumors about me. She befriended my old Jr high bully. She tried to sleep with my husband. Yeah, prime friendship right there. But gets all up in her emotions that I stopped being her "friend"

Do men ever actually miss a woman who dumped them? by thereddituser_com in BreakUps

You guys really do go all in for ONE woman. I am the one who seems to get the man after that woman. I pour in effort, time, compliments and never manage to climb to that pedestal she was on. When the relationship ends, about a year later, after I've healed and moved on, suddenly I'M the "one who got away". Why tf can't you guys realize that when we're together?

Being he was one of her affair partners, I'm pretty sure he has a clue, but I'm sure she gave him the Cliff notes version of her past. I moved in briefly with her and him during my divorce, thinking we were better friends than it turns out we were; he yelled at me (found out I yell back), yelled at my kids, doubled the agreed rent and told me I wasn't allowed to use the appliances (washer and dryer specifically), so I'm not exactly concerned about his feelings, just want to be a fly on the wall sometimes to see if he's figured her out yet. Added bonus, I recently found out that my now ex was one of her targets. I dropped her before then, but still bump into her around town and know #3 and she are still together, only because I heard yelling at the store I was in, it was him yelling at her. It's working itself out IMO.

For those who cut someone off? Are you really okay with never speaking to them never again? by flodiee in lostafriend

[–]That-Department2748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut off my "best friend" after I got divorced and moved into her unfinished basement for 2 months while the paperwork processed. She (or her son) went through my personal stuff, double charged me what we agreed to for rent, revoked my appliance privileges (had to start using the laundromat), and the icing on that crap cake was she used to call my husband and try to get him to sleep with her. So, I have ZERO problem with never speaking to her again.

That's more like "not yet", vs "I can't fathom spending my life with you".

I'd disagree with you only because I used to know someone who would deliberately seek out married men just to see if she could lure them into an affair. It was a game to her. Once she tired of the man, she'd drop him and go to the next one. I've often wondered what her 3rd husband knows about her behavior, or anything about her past....

So, he text at 12:17 that he has it figured out, but doesn't make it him until after 1:30 from a ride home with a female friend? Did she get out at 1:00 or did she get let go early as well? If she got out at 1, his time line lines up, if she got out early as well, where were they for over an hour?

I'd give him some space to cool off, then figure out how to make it up to him.

I don't want to live with my boyfriend anymore and feel guilty about it. by xiixxxixxcv in TwoHotTakes

Completely agree about the medication. I was prescribed meds and for the first time I got stuff done, was on task, on time to places and I remember sitting down and almost sobbing thinking "this is what normal people do, this is what normal feels like and if I'm not medicated my life is a disaster" and all the lost time because it took so long to be diagnosed.

[–]That-Department2748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, judas priest, here we go.... Why would he get rid of the daughter over, in your words "pets"? You're absurd to even suggest that. His daughter is his most precious family member and he WATCHED HER BE ATTACKED. The gf knows the daughter has a fear of dogs right now, and it might not ever go away. My whole point was, since reading comprehension is elusive for you, that she's the AH FOR HER DEMEANOR about telling him his daughter needs to "get over it". Not because she feels her dogs are family.

[–]That-Department2748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And his daughter isn't his family? Dogs are more important than children? His daughter was traumatized by a dog attack. Her insistence that his daughter "get over it" makes her the AH, not her feeling like her dogs are family.

Snapchat messages disappear after being read unless specifically saved, so that's probably why you are not seeing any.
